the market with women over 30 or 40 who regret not marrying and having kids is much bigger than the market of the opposite situation. this is why they are catering to them. i think japan also wants to do something about their population issue. less and less bbies are born there. they don't want to make ppl want to stay single and childless lol

this is the mindset of many women in japan the past years but most of them are alone in some hospice with nobody to care for them.. and worse is some of them do crimes to be put in jail, like stealing sth because that way people will pay attention to them. the life of spinster ladies in Japan is actually not very good. most single old women will be a baba that nobody pays attention too. which is sad.

his talent is limited that is for sure. but then again... he started off i think as a kamen rider lol XD all he had to do in it was smile and say "i will make all of you my friends". i wonder though... this role might suit him.. at least until he has to actually show feelings.

they were together since 2014 , it is true. with johnny alive any idol had 1% chance of marrying before 40. even now some fans are attacking his wife....

they have been dating for 5 years and probably they couldn't marry earlier because of the rule the dead johnny had. whenever one of his cash cows was about to marry he would throw a fit. at any point before, marrying would be difficult for them. it was to be expected of them to marry now that things are better and if they have a bby coming too, even better.

it is okay they will get used to it. japanese ppl on social media are always like that . just the tiny disturbance and they go batshit crazy. like korean netizens

i liked the drama a lot. and honestly i prefer tabe mikako for him. i didn't think there was even a hint from his end to having any romantic thoughts for the aoi yu teacher. it was all one sided in her case. it would end up being too unnatural for the story to progress that way and also it would feel super rushed.

ah yes i finished it and saw for myself. i was surprised. usually jdramas of this type where the main character loves their work, they usually end up picking work over love.

so obviously by the end of the show they break up?

there are a lot of ppl who go like "omg no romance i won't watch" but then they miss out on some amazing dramas because of this kind of outlook. i got so tired of the same over and over kdrama romance trope u.u yet here that damned piggyback happened u.u anyway it's a matter of ideas. tbh that one moment of a puiggyback was nowhere near the connection and love we saw her have with takumi. the whole drama had scenes with them as romantic and just one wit taneda lol either way though i want to see a drama with mukai and his wife as the leads *_*

love affair drama that did it well? no. the only drama with a love affair that did it excellently was hirugao

just watching makes me cry

she was offered the role actually but her new bby is not even one years old. >.< shooting a drama is going to be like sacrificing her time with the bby. they could have waited some more u.u
