non make sense storyline
The character shows no signs of becoming any smarter; whenever they take on a task, it’s as if they haven't prepared at all. Instead of learning from mistakes, they keep running into the same problems over and over. Is this really the clever, quick-witted character from the original novel? There was absolutely no need to butcher the source material like this.
