I had a very high expectation from this drama bcz psychology n romance both of them together are my favorite genre . But i am disappointed bcz both the leads cudnt give what it takes. They looked emotionless most of the time, sometimes both of them acted idiotic n dialogues made no sense. I cudnt like this drama no matter how good the plot is. This cud have been the most wonderful drama if executed properly. My recommendations for something similar but emotional n much better : Ravine of goodbye jmovie. MARS :Manga n Taiwanese drama both. Broken novel series by annie jocoby.

Slow paced, realistic, sad, insight into characters,the one thing is unique abt the movie is not so likable main male leads. How cn someone call ando sakura ugly , well its a movie i cnt complain. I recommend it if u love slow paced Japanese movies with nostalgic ambience.
I'd rather not seriously judge this drama n characters bcz its too short fr that.It was fun at first last two or three episodes got boring n serious. Not bad when u have nothing to watch.

The execution was really simple n slow paced instead of melodrama which we generally see in dramas based on affairs ya except that bitch wife scene. Almost all the characters were really lovable which made me love this drama even more. No fluff but there were sweet scenes which made me smile. A comfortable n soothing drama fr a weekend.

Not all jdramas do that. Many of them have realistic n sad ending , u r just watching the wrong ones. But i do agree with ur second statement. Marriage isnt fr everyone
Hated that she will never know what he did to her twice. She changed n became independent but cud never figure him out n remained naive till the end. ML is a mystery, i dnt know if he was into some psychological stuff or something but i guess its safe to say that he is just a dick to her,he just betrayed her . Then the way he cried in the end n helped her n gave her money with honesty n he was genuinely worried fr her in some parts....whtever he is a dick i cnt help it

Reminds me of byakuyako, my most favorite japanese drama. Plot was really good n thrilling but i was unable to emotionally connect with characters n their stories n root for them much.
Have been avoiding historical jdrama but i gave it a try bcz its only 4 episode bt man now that i have finished it i crave for more. What a brilliant drama. Wasnt scary but i was high on emotions. Never rooted fr student/teacher rship this much before.
Its both happy n sad ending depends on the characters ,maybe this is why its bittersweet anyway they all r happy in the end. For me its just a sad movie. Maborosi is another movie where ML dies , keeping the one left behind in puzzle n its not a very good feeling. Unrequited love is one thing but not knowing the heart of the dead person, unable to question them n hate them is another. Amazing movie.
