I loved the starting game n there were some funny moments i thought the whole movie was going to be as good but it failed. Sometani shota has a very little role though i loved his character im sad.
I hv seen few of the movies of miike i became a fan but this one was nothing, turned into massacre in the second half. But i actually liked the first half n the song.
This is absolutely amazing movie. Funny n violent at the same time.Enigmatic characters. Old jmovies have natural feeling to them. I love all the gory scene. Just perfect direction. I wanted more.

Excitement is what i felt, My heart was beating fast watching this drama n even music was intense. But around 7-8 episode it went downhill . But its really worth watching.

I cnt say they are similar but Off the top of my head i will suggest some romantic dramas n movies which i really like. Dramas: Kenja no ai, Love and fortune, Perfect crime, Unmei ni nita koi, Hirugao, Glass no le(i am biased with saito takumi so last three r his), one million stars falling from the sky (watch the Japanese adaptation bcz its darker n very nice towards the end, Platonic, You always inhabit my heart, The last cindrella, Hajimete Koi wo Shita Hi ni Yomu Hanashi.
Movies: Himizu, Yurigokoro, Love exposure (these three r must watch). Orange, Norwegian wood, marmalade boy, yuriko 's aroma, inugami, hirugao(sequel) Anime: Just give these a try, i hated animes but these got me hooked. clannad/after story,mononoke, kaiba, yosuga no sora. U can find all of them in dramacool n animes in gogoanime P. S. Read the synopsis before watching bcz some of them r dark, incest n violent.
I liked the dark comedy though it dint last long n second half was ok nothing much in the plot .i really felt bad for the antagonist in the end but rape is not justifiable.
finally finish this series! I like the ending though at the end I think kyoko will end up with hoshino because…
I understand u have ur theory of hoshino but my friend, as a woman i would never like her to end up with a guy who asked her to walk naked in front of his friends then in bra in front of audience, Even though he dint force her but he manipulated n humiliated her. He was just possesive bcz she was pure but a guy who loves a girl would never let her to lose her dignity as a woman n protect her. Just think abt it.
