I really wanted it to be a drama or long movie bcz there's so much going on , although transitions from flashbacks to present were really smooth but i felt a little gap .I m thinking if it's success they should make more adaptation of this but it's not easy bcz of controversial theme which we rarely see in dramas these days unlike old ones. The slow movements is just acting style in Asian dramas especially in slow paced ones n Fumi is shown as a gloomy n mysterious character not a normal one from the beginning so it goes with his personality. I agree with u i wanted to know more abt Fumi's character but i have seen in many jdramas with introvert characters that they don't express much n i think that's the point,they do it to get us curious n intrigued.I hope i get know more abt him from the novel.

P. S. Shiratori Tamaki will be an amazing actress, her mature role as a kid won my heart.
Movie is filled with popular ikemens .Emoto Tasuku looked hot. Some scenes were really cute n funny ,toxic n heavy themed plot smartly crafted in comfortable n light ambience which anyone can watch. Even all sex scenes were good, not half assed at all but I dint root for any character . Overall it's a decent movie.

This is a story of a woman who embarks on a journey to find her father's ashes n travels far n discovers many truth about her father n mother that she never knew.The ambience is beautiful n nostalgic. Emotions like love, pain, care n longing were beautifully depicted. It was triggering but heartfelt ,deep n touching n some scenes really stole my heart. A must watch film for movie lovers .
Like everyone said first half was just pretty i wanted more of beautiful sceneries ,dialogues n bike rides n second half wasnt bad either if u r looking fr psychological thriller but again it cud have been much better with good writing n acting. Screenwriter is also only 25 so i cnt complain much . Anyways,it's not an important film u cn find much better old movie in this genre ,one can watch for direction as it was good.

Superb direction n acting ofc, this was a good psychological movie about a character transformation but to be honest i cudnt enjoy it alot bcz it lacked in depth unlike other kurosawa kiyoshi movies. So overall a good movie to pass the time but not an important one. Reminded me a little of one of my favs Beautiful Mind.
This was a psychological movie ,u can compare this with Air Doll , well first few minutes of that movie. This is a story of an independent introverted woman with trust issues but she is a caring person too.
