If they had a better communication n if there were no inner monologues then we wouldn't have gotten to see this beautiful movie series 😊 Inner monologues beautify the movies,we get to know the characters deeply like in the novels.
I have watched smile has left ur eyes but it was trash. Is this one any different? People say its a better version.
I hated the kversion bcz it was long, mild n ending was completely different. I remember u dnt like melodrama but it has it n i remember getting a little bored at first but I'm glad i sticked bcz jdramas r short n if u r open minded to any kind of creepiness (which i really love), japanese acting style especially the FL bcz some dint like her childish character but u have keep in mind that it's an old jdrama n dark characters then watch it.I hope i dint spoil much but i needed to warn u.Let me know if u liked it .

Lesson here is that no matter how unlucky n sad ur life has been, as long as u stay positive without fretting over little things, things will be alright. Tokue san was not just surviving but she was living ,vibing n loving n happened to meet few nice people n it was enough. Always Be grateful for what u have n dnt cry abt what u dnt. A must watch movie.
What a touching narrative by a daughter about her father. Everything that led to that last fight n the build up was so engrossing n beautiful. MC is a modest person n one may see him as a loser for having no ambition n also dim but he is serious, whatever he does he does it with all his sincerity n he never backs off.
Action scenes r very few but really so engaging,u cnt just dislike this movie. U can also put this movie in slice of life genre.

Multiple perspective movie with psychological n slice of life as genre.Nice plot n acting with depth in message which only Japanese movies can deliver n satisfactory ending.

They both were equally sick which FL dint realize at first but i think it triggered further when she met ML as she lost her sense as to quit her career n they both broke up in the end n that ending scene was just both of their dreams.
I like toyoda toshiyaki direction so i decided to watch it n it didn't disappoint. It was mundane n slow paced movie abt a family which appears to be perfect but everyone has their own demons but somehow trying to live fighting it. Will they win or lose? It's a life story of everyone of us. I thought it was going to be on a thriller side but it's a calm movie n i enjoyed it.
Let me warn u that u need patience n open mind to enjoy this because it all comes back together later so yes it makes sense. It's amazing, peculiar n unconventional there were also some emotional parts.
I enjoyed it when i watched it long time back Rare to see this kind of twisted plot in Chinese movies bcz in chinese cinema this is unconventional,i generally see simple, soothing, sensual or cute romance that's y there r not many comments here.I already like FL from Better Days. If u like psychological genre n a little slow paced movie then u can watch this .
Agree, so many japanese BLs, like this, The cornered mouse, Utsukushii Kare etc. has a really low rating in MDL…
I see this everywhere not just BLs n MDL.I recently watched a really good movie on Netflix Power of Dog but it's rating in IMDb made me laugh .what's more frustrating is stupid dramas r hyped bcz of extremely sexual scenes n hot actors, people r so ignorant it's sad.But only thing keeps me happy that i feel lucky to discover n understand these complex stories which only few can.Still i want people to grow up n stop being ignorant .

Plus m not even talking abt utsukushi kare or cornered mouse in particular .M talking abt "toxic" dramas or when people can't accept n respect the theme in story,what I mean is they r not open minded to changes or toxic or complex stories which may make them sad,they only want a feel good feeling n want their favourite couple to end up together or they want perfect characters ,that's not how it should be,if u want u cn go check on the comments on any toxic dramas including infidelity,rape etc where people r venting on characters without appreciating the hardwork of anyone no matter how amazing any dramas are n how brilliantly they r told, it's a sign of immaturity, when even something is great but u rate it low just bcz u cnt tolerate sad or bittersweet ending, flawed characters or some even spread hatred bcz of particular theme that they dnt like n they dnt even finish the series n form an opinion,u get what m trying to say?I hope u understand now.Take care bye
