The ML's mother is really bad,, she is too selfish. She would rather let her daughter run the risk of being heartbroken than let her know that her mother wasnt perfect and had once abandonned her son.
I mean after shes begged and asked a couple of times and it was obvious our ML wasnt going to stop, instead of risking everything on the conscience of a child she may have given birth to but wasnt familiar with, she should have told her daughter, "you cant date him, cause he's your half brother". At worst she can craft a story that paints ger in an innocent light or beg her daughter to help her or claimed she was ill or lied that she was suffering postpartum depression then. But before the girl really falls for him or he goes crazy and does worse things that cant be fixed, she should have told.
To her, her own image was always more important than her children. I dont expect her to be self sacrificing fof her kids. But honestly, what she had to give up was so much less than what she was risking on a sure loss. Especially since her son had gone half mad in pursuit of his goal/revenge.
Well my guess is because when the elders who make the marriage arrangements don't state which son/daughter who…
Thanks. I think you're right about the older sister still being unmarried because shes serving in the royal palace.
But whether to force the other side to choose between breaking the engagement or substituting the candidate, they should stiil have asked for the younger sisters hand. They even had a valid reason to use as screensmoke since Khun Luang wasn't the oldest either.
I can understand not wanting to break the father's promise but using loopholes to change the situation and save yourself and offspring from the Bua abyss was obviously the best choice both Khun Luang & his Mother had at the time.
There 2 questions I cant help but ask after watching petra naruemit.
Firstly, even if you have no choice but to eat rotten fruit, isn't it commonsense to take the least rotten one?!
From his word and actions Khun Luang doesn't seem to think his engagement with Bua could be avoided only stalled, so why on earth didnt he & his Mother who both knew Bua's character, hurry up and ask for Bua's younger sister's hand in marriage instead?
The promise between the families cannot be voided? Congratulations! There's another daughter! Or does Mae Nai really want a woman like Bua to raise her grandchildren?
Secondly, why is Khun luang's older sister unmarried? I don't think she's widowed cause she's a royal servant. They've harped on about how Khun Luang is still unmarried at his oh so advanced age, so whats up with the older sister?
He loved her and her brother died saving him. If only one of the two was true, he might have cut her off but with both? He has no choice but to accompany her even if others brand him stupid.
It's not like he has illusions about her either; he simply desires to protect her, from others and from herself.
Although, the timeline for romantic development is so fast (considering the previous relationship), it feels kind of weird; but I have to admit that the initial set-up of the lakorn is well-done and reasonable.
Pa doesnt hate her brother in law, she's simply annoyed with him because of his family members. Neither does she demand something impossible to achieve from him, she asks for her nephew's custody not for him to break up with his family.
And when I considered it, her revenge plan also targets Madam Nuan's sensitive point- Nai's opinion of his mom. At least, Mdm. Nuan never pretends in front of Nade but always carefully cleans her trail for Nai.
I don't know if the drama was realistic but it was real. It was real because insecurity exists in some form in almost all human relationships irrespective of the type. Even in parent-child relations many doubt either themself, the other or both. Its only a question of whether it's habitually faint or usually dominant.
leads acting and chemistry is so good but as a story it's very boring.enjoyed in bits and flat narration damaged…
It really wasn't boring. It was filled with conflict. In Lovestruck in the City the conflict was internal rather than external as is common; but that made it even more interesting cause of the tension and the grip of the pain.
I loved this drama. Romance dramas often write plots with so many external.factors driving the plot but the reality is the hardest part of loving someone is the dynamics between the two. What truly drives any romance are choices and attitude.
Your relationship may or may not have a terrible mother in law, class difference, or buried feuds but there exists no romance without two people.
Okay, so I understood and felt bad for her up until she decided to cheat on her second husband with her first…
Is he really her husband even though she was forced? Does rape, money and power give him the right to overwrite her will? She wasn't two hearted. She was unfaithful but did they deserve to receive faithfulness in the first place?
I binged this over the weekends, omg it was like my crack. Every character in this story needs THERAPY ASAP lol.…
Prai probably didnt want passion like that anymore cause he wasnt just burned badly, he was tossed into hell by it. And Plae was never the passion kind of girl either. So I I think the lack of tension was kind of realistic.
He was wrong. He chose the worst way to run away. He wanted to run but he also wanted to hurt. In other words, he used Kang Seolri. (I'm not pitying Seolri, im just stating a fact)
I find it interesting that no one really believed that he loved Kang Seolri. They didnt believe it 4 years ago and they didnt believe it 4 years later.
She really married a ruthless king who never and ever trusted her
The men she fell for never trusted her . I kind understood the king though. His first step to get her was wrong how do you expect him to have the confidence to trust.
A house built on the rubble of that which you ruined is (almost) never going to have a stable foundation
Am i the only one who doesn't like Jing Ke? Why do I feel that he never truly loved Gongsun Li because he lost…
I didn't doubt the king's love for her. He just loved both power and her. Both had reached out their hand to him when he was isolated in his despair; so he became obsessed with both.
how DARE the king feel like FL owes him anything when he literally kidnapped her wtf. and she has stockholm syndrome
Humans were like that originally, once you give you start to feel you should also be given back. For him, he had already compromised. For her, he had already ruined her everything.
Although it was controversial, I feel the basic concepts were actually okay but...
GS may have been unable to abandon his mother but he shouldn't have kept his silence for her or let her go unpunished. Love does not equate to avoidance or cover up. Very often, one punishes because one loves.
YS should have known after seeing what happened to her bestfriend that condoning and yielding can actually also destroy the people you love and changed at least a little.
These are just 2 of the most annoying points.
The framework feels awesome with brimming potential but the script and characters unfailing disappoint.
How do I say it, I feel like it could have been great a great script if only... and If only... and if only.... of hi The if only's dominate the plot.

Can anyone solve my doubts?
