Yessss mere... Ming ye, Sang jiu and Tian Huan are black and white characters which is definitely not my type. I like complex characters and that's why I like TTJ and ye xiwu and even ye Bingchan in the mortal world
I love everything about this drama but first few things that I really like is costume and lead actors and fast paced story.. Noone would be hooked if they have taken way long to show affections for each other.
Things I didn't like: 1. The first 30mins of 1st episode seemed to dubbed in such a way that it was distracting 2. Dream arc was not my fav even in novel and some of the scenes seemed to be used again again if you look closely.
I don't know how it will progress but I always loved their push and pull but hated TTJ for many of his actions. Can't wait to see how they carry on with those incidents in the drama but considering he is way better in drama i am sure they might have done some changes to pass censorship.
Can someone explain all the characters and their relations with each other, it’s weird but I kinda like to know…
Li Susu/ ye xiwu/ sang jiu: all the three roles are played by bailu and Li Susu is the goddess who travels back in time to stop devil from gaining power. She uses the body of ye xiwu in the mortal realm. She plays sang jiu in the dream arc when they get into serpent's dream. Tantaijin/ devil god/ ming ye: He is the one li Susu comes to destroy in the mortal realm and he is the husband of ye xiwu. So, basically he is her husband who was a hostage prince from jing and she has to destroy his evil bone at any cost. Ye Bingchan/ Tian Huan : This is the character portrayed by second FL who is step sister of ye xiwu(FL) and she was the daughter of one of the concubines ( not the legal wife) of her father. So she was jealous of ye xiwu. Xiao Lin/ Sang you: He was the crown prince and he made Ye Bingchan as his concubine. In the mortal realm, ye xiwu liked him but in other arc, he was her brother. The story mainly focusses on these 4. There is third couple who is demon fox pian ran and ye xiwu 's eldest brother.
It is completely ok to not like a drama that every one else likes but bringing negativity and toxicity with the way they express their thoughts shows how immature, biased and insecure they are about their favs
