Actually there were gonna work in one more drama last year and they both are in the same company and their company also shipped them but the fans were frustrated to see them paired again. Xu kie's fans started Hating against her and even sent threat to her parents. At the end, just to keep her safe they started maintaining distance and unfollowed each other on weibo and seems they won't be seen again together any time soon. It all happened after one day Xu kie spent one night at bai Lu's house and the rumour of their dating had started. But anyway currently we can only wish they could be friends after such bitter history. Though xukie scolded his fans and bailu reorganized her fanclub, we will have to see how much time will it take for both of them to come on the stage together again.

Coming back again and again to just check the comments. I know it will be active until we get forever and ever. Happy to see so many good comments about the acting. I get frustrated when everyone talks only about visuals of the lead. It is always the acting that keeps me hooked up and the obviously a good plot.

I still can't get over them. It has already been two months I have finished this drama and I am still stuck to them... Watching their old videos. I need more c-dramas with good plot and cast who can act this perfectly. I can't get enough of the leads. Omg if they have not received this much hate from tha fans they could have worked again. Love xukai in this drama and bailu has become my idol. Gonna follow her upcoming dramas.

If you are into historical drama with slow burn romance without real kisses and tragic endings you should definately give it a try. Moreover even though you are not into sad endings their reincarnation will have a happy ending

Exactly my thoughts I don't know why people are even comparing this drama with go go squid. The first season of GGS is one of my fav show and I dropped this one after 5-6 episode because I really hate how they portrayed other gamers like villian and the worst thing was the acting skill. Everything seemed so over dramatic to me. I just can't see flat faces with just visuals. People are going crazy just because of their visuals

I just love bai lu. And this drama is really good and their visuals are insane. I loved Allen since it is my first time watching him. The only thing I miss is bailu' s actual voice and I am happy they removed her bangs in just 2 episodes. Moreover story is slow burn and their expressions shows how much they need each other and I love that. I don't mind no kissing until the story and acting is good. The last drama that was so good without any kissing scenes was arsenal military academy.
