So, I am bit slow and finally reached the episode where they kissed. And my heart was so happy seeing all the sweet moments. I like the fact he is so sweet and both are open about their feelings from the very first episodes. The only thing that I read in one of the comments that Allen is sighing a lot and I agree to that. But nevermind, I am so happy to see that he is portrayed warm and cute rather than cold and rude at any point of time. Last time such ordinary love of somewhat "arranged marriage" concept that I really liked was intense love. They are warm and shy and cute and understanding most importantly. I wish could find such understanding men.🥺 And for bailu, she is my bias so I am not gonna say anymore she is just too good in this role. I am happy she is being appreciated for her warm roles.

There is nothing like main point. But shiyi went to the master Zhou Shenchen for education and he took her as disciple to avoid family disputes they had in past. She was engaged to crown prince but fell in love with her master. He had vowed to never get married or have children. So she just wanted to be by her side but she was kind of forced by the empress to marry the crown prince and Zhou shenchen was killed by on the pretext of treason and shiyi attempted suicide after that.
Actually you can skip the first part but you can find it something fast paced relationship development or you might not relate to how they got together so quickly.
