My first second lead syndrome was jihoo sunbae. And here we go again. I loved Ren's smirk in the end. And extra points to the female lead. She is better than most of the versions I have watched. I thought they would make the main lead a bit less rude than earlier versions but trust me even I wanted to punch him in the last scene. My SLS is definately gonna be on peak even this time😭😭😭
I still visit this page to check out the comments. Gu yenzhan will be forever special character. A perfect balance between mischievous and caring. Better than rude or cold male leads. Though he was not worthy of the trust due to the playboy nature initially, but for the first time I never felt that the Shen jushan was perfect for the girl.🤭 It would be one of the few times that I almost watched all of the scenes for the second female lead too. She is adorable 🥰 . And the love story between the leads is way too good. I liked the bailu until I was watched this show but after this and the legends (my demoness ❣️) i became her huge fan. Her acting spectrum is huge ❣️. More than a year but some characters are forever.
I came here from someday or one day page. Someone there praised about this drama and until now I didn't know this drama existed. I really like this female lead so I am sure I am gonna watch this. Can someone tell me when the drama will be completed or when the episode are released per week.
This is the best Taiwanese and in general the show which captivated me with the most unique storyline. At least I am assured to say that you won't get to criticize at least on the story and acting front. Half way through the two episodes and the story grows on you and you won't be disappointed. No cliches no unnecessary dragged episode short and perfect binge worthy. Though I took time to finish the last episode because I didn't want them to let go knowing that ending might hurt. But overall a satisfying ending and a great plot.
The drama is unique and captivating. Not extraordinary but definately don't deserve such low rating on douban or here. I think yangzi took a brave step while accepting this offer and this is my first time watching jing boran and I absolutely love him. I hope people could appreciate such dramas.
I dropped this drama last year on ep 1 because I am not into fantasy drama with such CGI. But since I like yangzi and and wanting to see the historical performance of leo yunxi I wanted to try again. The plot is not bad until now. I am currently on ep 34 and they are in the mortal world. Although I like the main cp but still I feel that Second male lead is being treated so unfairly. In these cases they start to show that the second lead is villian. I wish they don't do that but since these are some predictable cliches. Although I like that male lead is straightforward in making love confession but sometimes it feels like pestering. May be I am having some second male lead syndrome and blabbering some nonsense because I want some affection towards him because he seems pitiful to me. I don't want to hate him even if they make him selfish later.

I miss her on-screen time. I want her in shows like keep running. Her laughter is so healing. I remember her saying to Allen I can do this (laughing and being cheerful) even when I am feeling down. She has come out to be strong. Hope we can see her more and more projects with many actors because she is easily shippable with whomever she works. Currently waiting for ordinary greatness.. I am sure it is gonna be good.
I wish that after the drama ends, yunxi takes a small break to maintain his health. He exactly looks like the pale king with the expression of demon which is the requirement of this drama. But I hope he gains a bit of weight. I will never understand Chinese standards of unhealthy obsession of being this skinny. I wonder if they even maintain their body mass index. 😣

It has just started shooting this month. 3-4 months of shooting, editing and getting license might take a whole lot of time. So, expecting by last quarter of 2022.
The 2 episodes are good. I hope they don't force too much romantic scenes because it disrupts the mode of the story. Currently liking both the leads. I am liking yangzi's closeups while using her sixth sense.
