About the costume controversy, I have realised that she was hostage queen who was deprived of all the privileges and was forced to die. So the simple attire justifies her look. And that bun also seems to be used only when she will remain the fallen queen to match her matured look.
When she will be reborn again, I am sure they will improvise with her look and make her look younger and won't use bun or such plane costumes.
Also for the plot, there are fillers but it is actually okay and xie wei's dark personality is catching my attention. If the screenwriter will remove these fillers, i think drama can come out to be interesting.

I would like to visit my own country at first because there are so many states with different cultures, languages and extraordinary places. Last year I visited Sikkim close to the border of China and the scenery was so good that I felt I was in heaven 💜

For me it is exactly opposite, i always prefer shorter dramas. Even though i really liked goodby my princess, I had to skip a lot in later few episodes before the last 2 episodes. Same for ashes of love, i almost skipped all scenes except the three leads(in later episodes just saw clip of ryunyu). Only yanxi palace has stood out for me without fillers(or may be I like harem drama more... can't say)
I like the drama if the story flow is good and focussed on leads rather than so many secondary characters.

Because most of the actors have many projects lined up even before they finish the drama but bailu doesn't have such privileges. Some of the actors who debuted with her already got S+ dramas due to their own personal resources but i would say TTEOM was a product of cp placement after the success of one any only. There are so many things that are problematic within her company, recent case of song weilong shows that.

I am sure they will show him using ye xiwu as puppet to kill xiao lin. Actually that reminded of li chengyin when he killed FL's master and forced her to see his death. Li chengyin is the reason I am anticipating TTJ to be grey.
Li chengyin, ryunyu and TTJ will be my fav grey characters. I need more like them.

Omg someone who thinks like me. I was so pissed off after ep 35 or so that I dropped the drama and watched only clips of ryunu. I hate when they show the ML as sugercoated and if the second lead wants the same thing he is considered 'villian' of the show.

If you can watch palace drama with battle in harem, i would suggest story of yanxi palace. Even though drama is long but FL makes it worth watching. She is calculative, manipulative and smart.

Reminiscing the past when I felt the heart break when she died in mortal realm and he cried out everywhere and was not letting her body go. That would be my fav part of the novel.

I love the trope enemies to lovers. So, i am liking xie Wei until now. He is not bad as I had preconceived notions about him at least in first 100 chapters. May be my opinion might change even though i don't want to.

She is not crying most of the time but whenever she used to meet xie Wei in first four to five encounters, tears started to roll down and whenever she was with palace companions she always had unnecessary conflicts which didn't even seem to contribute to the drama. Simply felt like lazy writting at those point.

I wished the FL to be something like fl from story of yanxi palace( what a badass, smart and calculative she was) but this FL only knows how to bully women and when she needs to confront someone stronger like xie Wei she starts to act like she has lost sense and seems like crybaby. No plans no execution until now except the side plot of business. I genuinely wish the screenplay writers to make her look in a better light.
