Ah, hopefully I could do it soon!
And yes, I feel a lot better now although my shoulder area still hurts orz. Must be from the colds, but can't totally understand why it should be around there that should hurt lol
Hmm... yes that's fine, but AFTER studying shall you watch that ep. :P

True! Seems like they're not so good with doing previews, although the episode 1 preview for episode 2 was good. Then everything went downhill :|
Really? I'm excited to watch it now, but I feel sick orz
Now I'm just downloading whatever I can then I'll deal with them once I feel a little bit better.

In my honest opinion they could've just made it into an SP or a movie instead of a whole series. The padding is totally apparent. :|

Ah yeah, I remember you're learning Japanese. How's your progress so far? I wanna talk about techniques in learning it.
I'm just in the planning stage, can't actively learn it yet, just passively through dramas orz But I can already recognize a number of Kanji and guess the meaning, I just suck a lot with readings. orz

Lol I actually laughed! Well thanks for cheering me up. :)
Anyway I see you've seen up to 7 episodes of Shotenin already. How's it so far? I'm planning to make a mid-season and final review on it on here but I'm afraid the critic side in me will take over orz

And the first thing that comes to people's minds when they think about me is, 'smart'. I may be so, but that doesn't define me, and I'm tired living that way orz

HAHAHA, exactly like that! orz
Then when you say you're having trouble on understanding something, they say, "What, you, having trouble on that? Aren't you smart?". WTHHHHHHH do I not have a right to be weak at things just because I'm like that?! UGH.

If I were to seriously pursue studying Nihongo I'd like to make translating my job, but well, I don't think it's a near sight from now yet :(

Well, I've lived with that stereotype all my life, I've wanted to escape from it. Seriously, the expectations can get rather burdening especially if all you want to do is enjoy life and relax a bit... you can't even do that because you need to get good grades and get to a good school and all that stuff. Well I was able to do that but when college came I was all lost and confused, like even after years of working hard I still came unprepared for it. Felt like all those years boiled down to nothing. :(
Yes, there's the Monbukagakusho Scholarship in our country and I'd wanted to study in Japan with that, but unfortunately our curriculum didn't match (we only had 10-year compulsory education in our time), so we had no choice but to go to college for 2 years (which would most likely end you up deciding to pursue it first then deal with the Japanese Dream afterwards). Well, things happened.

Eh, I thought of that, too. I originally wanted to be a doctor, but idk anymore. I see a lot of JP-EN translator jobs open and I feel really tempted to apply even though I don't have the qualifications yet. Silly me XD
Hmm... at first yes, I was satisfied and was determined to push through it, but at the middle I thought I wasn't fit for serious kinds of lab work - I was just too clumsy X_X And add that to the fact that I suddenly felt caged by all these stereotyping people have put on, that I belong to science and nothing else. orz orz orz
Ah great, I first heard the word in the (Korean) ending theme of the anime Black Blood Brothers. <3

Hmm... let's just say the course she took was towards the social sciences while I was trapped in the stereotyping that I was too smart for it, and hence was meant for the sciences? orz Until now I'm still agonizing over that. But oh well, that's how my brain works and is good at, although I have fallen in love with everything right-brain recently. UGH.
That's true, Google Translate is good only for readings, and maybe sometimes for single-word translations, but for any other instances it's junk :|
Yeah I know that! When I encountered 'yaksok' (or something like that), I was like, "Omg, that sounds a lot like 'yakusoku'!" :OOOOO

Lol, I don't think that's the case though. If I were to continue seriously studying Kanji on my own I'd like to combine the Heisig technique alongside with repetition. Of course practice makes perfect! ^0^
Haha, I use the Kanji I couldn't recognize to practice my writing skills, since I use the IME and I type in there whatever I can't recognize. I always turn happy whenever the right Kanji turns up. ^0^
Ah, yes, thanks for your kind words! >:D< I can't believe I've gotten this far, too. My sister took Basic Japanese and I had come at one or 2 sessions of it.

Haha, gomen ne? Idk, maybe because you didn't write anything there so I wasn't able to see where that box of general info is located. I was actually thinking it wasn't there at all. Well, add that to the fact I'm also browsing a lot of MDL profiles lately so I cannot totally remember which is which. orz
EH?! It's almost like Japanese, then! Not to mention the grammatical structure is almost totally alike (S-O-V). When I browsed through TYK I was all like, ?????" <3
I had to edit my answer because of 900 characters restriction so I didn't have much characters left to say how…
Hehe, I don't think that had been the case though :P

Ah... hopefully that would suit to my taste! I like darker stuff though, like maybe Piece? And her very dark character in Taisetsu, although I ended up bashing her for that. LOOOOL
But that wouldn't hurt to try! What was her first drama again? My friend who's a avid Takei Emi fan ever since Taisetsu was recommending it to me like air, but I totally forgot the title. orz

Ah btw I'm not sure if I already told you, but I could do more Kanji recognition than writing. My handwriting just sucks big time, and it just won't go in proportion whenever I write! ;___; Plus the strokes are hard to remember too, although I've already taken a skim at the general rules on writing Kanji strokes. Eh, maybe it's just of course the learning process can't be done overnight? But I totally feel disappointed with myself due to lack of progress (4 years, and I still suck at grammar and have a sketchy list of Kanji I have 'mastered'). lol
And yes, I feel a lot better now although my shoulder area still hurts orz. Must be from the colds, but can't totally understand why it should be around there that should hurt lol
