Yes I wish there were further explanation about how he plotted it all too, last episodes were too focused on Meng Yao and I really confused so I watched this spinoff.
But still, I didn't get why it's only nie clan swords spirit who needs to be suppressed? Doesn't swords of other clan has their spirits too?
And the last words Wei Ying said to Nie, "Don't befriend with evil". What does that mean? Does it about WangXian couldn't being friend with Nie or perhaps Nie had any allies to help him scheming it all?

Guess I'll read the novel because I really couldn't catch up last episodes, the whole baxia thing and Nie clan sword's spirits.

I'm in ep 25 and don't attack me I kinda craving another historical drama with Wei Wuxian and Wen Qing as leads. They're so perfect together OMG I'm crying.

Yes it was! But it's getting better and better, I'm glad to be patient enough. The story and plot pretty good and eventually I don't mind about them flying or those dramatical big wind anymore lol.

For me he's more like an old man in a kid's body instead, because he was so well wised kid, so done with everyone and a bit annoying too.

I really had a good laugh because of him and got sad when Fan Xian already a grown up man.

I'm in the middle watching it btw, frowned so much at ep 1-2 because my tiny brain couldn't digest a thing (cultivator, magic spell etc) then decided to read the novel at 1st chapter and finally found the light, lol.
Now I'm in ep 7 and actually TU is such a light and fun drama to watch.

I can't agree more with you. They should've put more efforts in styling because when I see both NY and WJY in awards ceremony they're look okay together. Even WJY looks much younger than her fellow cops.
