fan xian - duoduo relationship is fun and exciting to watch, but yeah fan xian and si lili relationship is more nerve wracking.
unfortunately he ends up with waner but it's more logical because that's how life works. It can't be predicted and we can't get what we want anyway.

It's okay if you feel that way I can recommend you some other dramas you might like to watch.
Yeah maybe the problem is not the show itself but the genre instead. Maybe you're just still unfamiliar with xianxia things that's why everything just so doesn't make sense. I watched several xianxia for like 1 episode and they're all pretty much the same. But recently I'm just getting used to it lol and all the CGI things doesn't bother me anymore.

A friend gave me this blog link, you could check this out later when you have time. I don't know if it'll help you understand the xianxia genre but for my case it did help. Have a good day! :)

I'm not a fan of bromance either, or maybe just still unfamiliar. But the story is pretty good. Some misteries here and there which surprisingly stuck in my brain, some things teaching us to love our siblings, to kindly help others, etc. It's good. As for the bromance/BL things I dare no to say further ^^.
