**major facepalm** man I never usually wish karma upon a secondary character unless they are evil and outright out to harm the leads. But this…. this is beyond foolish that she betrayed the people who have loved her whole life for a man she doesn’t even know and has shown her barely any kindness (except sparing her life 1 time)

I think I might actually cheer when her unhappiness in Jinxiu starts.

it’s really too much, how can she be so delusional to betray and abandon her family members who have loved her so much for a man she only met once and he openly admits he doesn’t love or remember her ?! I’m so sorry to say this (or not) but all the suffering she is about to encounter in Jinxiu is well deserved when she arrives in a country where no one cares about her and the man she abandoned everything for also abandons her

unfortunately she’s been way too sheltered and naive thinking that as long as she love the prince he will reciprocate it and since they are married, he is bound to protect and be with her. She doesn’t think of the consequences because she has never had to face it her whole life and she’s too naive having. the thought that marrying the one she loves means a happily ever after no matter where they go

she’s been sheltered her whole life and has this naive thinking that love and her sincerity would be enough to win him over. She’s just super love sick thinking her husband is the one she loves and will be by her side though it all.

well I can say she’s in for a rude awakening

Basically she steals the token and flees to Jinxiu which XJS, when FSG catches up to them she threatens him with her life saying that he is her husband and will treat her with kindness and to let them go while FSG is adamant that he can’t let her go to face danger in enemy territory.
I cannot with this character and all I can say for break her brother heart, the one person who has protected and and truly loved her all she deserves all the unhappiness and pain that is to come

I really appreciate you sharing this and your analysis of the spoilers !!! I am quite disliking Xiyang right now due to her sheltered self and naiveness and am actually looking forward to her rude awakening in Jinxiu because I did see some of the spoilers you mentioned (Jingshi looked especially happy when she declared she was going to divorce him and she looked shocked when she got slapped) I wonder how they will show Xiyang’s growth from there

I am curious how they are going to develop the plot line involving Xia Jingyan, but I just hope Xia Jingshi doesn’t go into typical 2ML craziness where he is willing to do anything to get back Yixiao because asking her to forget that he actually tried to kill her so that they can go back to the way before was another level of craziness.
