so, this is like Bon Appetit, Your Majesty but in military setting and without romance? haha!
Very little romance, I think. Jung Min A character was cast as a romantic interest for the ML—mostly one‑sided from her side. Ye Rin might also develop some feelings for him. But overall, the romance will probably stay very minimal.

I liked the first episode. It feels refreshing to see a mainstream drama using systems like this — it’s a nice change. The rating is a joke, honestly. The drama is funny and refreshing so far. I checked Namuwiki and AI-summarized the character relationships, and it seems like there will be some slight romance, mostly as a subplot. Overall, it looks promising.

Oh damn, I think, I saw the drama was at 8.5 rating just last week. And now it’s 8.1? What happened? It should never drop that low after the drama has already finished airing. Honestly, 8.5 already felt a bit low to me, but 8.1 is just ridiculous.

Watched the first episode. I’d say it was just okay. It feels like we’ve seen these formulas so many times—FL facing life and job issues (this time with insomnia), burning out in city life, escaping to a village, meeting ML, ML being the village hunk loved by everyone, ML having a hidden sorrowful past, and have a 2ML who instantly likes FL. It checks every familiar box. Nothing new so far.

We can already guess where the story is going. There will be an unnecessary love triangle since 2ML is very open about pursuing FL. ML and FL will have small fights but eventually come to an understanding after a few episodes. FL slowly gets used to village life. We’ve seen this pattern countless times.

Using the same formulas isn’t necessarily bad, but they need to bring something fresh or at least develop some likeable characters. If they can’t do that, this will end up as another forgettable drama. Let’s hope for the best.

Completed the drama. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I’m going to miss it a lot. I liked the ending. Although I wanted more, it was probably the best ending we could have asked for. The characters were carrying death flags from the very beginning, and Wuyi was never meant to exist, so whatever we got is already something to be grateful for, considering the circumstances.

My only complaint would be the excessive focus on Ji Ling. The entire drama revolved around him, and then Wuyi. All the other characters were overshadowed by them. It was probably a deliberate choice by the production team, but the main characters and equal billing things in the cast were honestly very deceiving from them. Another thing, at times, I felt the story was made overly complex. Maybe they could have kept it a bit simpler so it would be easier for everyone to understand.

Tian Jia Rui and Ju Jingyi delivered the best performances in the drama. They were fantastic, and I’ll definitely be looking forward to their next projects. I will miss the JiLu couple—they were the best thing of the drama. I also liked the Wuwu couple a lot. Wishing both couples a happy life in the future.

Overall, I’d say it was a great drama experience. Now, let me wait for another drama that can capture my interest again.

HE for both couples….just two ladies with amnesia. Just as I thought JLNLWY live in a completely different either…
Oh, that’s great. This is honestly the best ending we could hope for, considering everything that happened. Thank God I can at least finish the drama with a good feeling. Thanks a lot for the spoilers.

So the girls don’t remember, but they still feel the connection with the boys—is it something like that? I guess they gave a strong implication of a happy ending.

Also curious but will we see CW at all? He’s only appeared in flashbacks. He’s still alive one would hope.
Well, JY wants to kill CW using WSG, so we’ll most likely see him again. But he might end up getting killed in the end.

I think Ji Lie is indicator he's the 3 petal Demon Hunter. Especially the fact he is the Sect Commander. Remember…
Yeah, you are correct. That demon hunter lady also had petals. I was just confused with Shiguang's petals. They look exactly the same, so you expect there are some similarities between them.

he is the commander of those 2 petal ones..i think it means the original soul of LJ, commander, revealing-entering…
So, he kinda works as the storage of dragon power? He can't use dragon power himself. Most likely that is the case.

Ep 23 trailer: Li Jie with 3 petals. Is that dragon power or something else? What is the difference between Shiguang's 3 petals and Li Jie's 3 petals?

The plot is what makes me so invested in the drama 🤣🤣🤣. I want plots like this. Reminds me of Dark and…
The plot is great, no doubt. But sometimes it becomes too complex and hard to follow for casual viewers. I’m not a casual viewer, though, so I enjoy it a lot.

MJTY had complex storyline too. That is just how GJM style. This drama still got hundred million views with how…
Well, of course the drama is still great. Maybe it’s just me, but I expect some payoff from watching every day. Today’s episode had very little payoff. It was important for the overall story, but it focused more on new mysteries and less on character interactions. I prefer a better balance. Two episodes would make that balance much easier to achieve.

One episode is better as their are so many details imagine having two now people would feel so overwhelmed
One episode is definitely easier to digest for complex stories, but the problem is that a single episode often comes with little or no payoff. Today’s episode was mostly an explanatory one—important for the overall plot, but not very satisfying in terms of payoff. Two episodes would balance things out better and keep viewers more engaged.

Am I the only one who thinks they’re making the plot overly complex? They could easily wrap things up by dropping some unnecessary elements instead of complicating the story even more. The time‑loop stuff and the introduction of a new mystery in every episode aren’t helping anymore. Releasing only one episode per day doesn’t help either—two episodes would probably keep viewers more engaged. I just hope they focus more on character interactions instead of constantly adding new plot points.

But JY can hijack her body whenever he wants hence the preview tomorrow.
I think she said, countless times and more than ten times — so it definitely has to be more than just three. I also don’t think the time travel ends with this arc. I saw a spoiler saying she might go back to Ji Ling’s childhood, but I’m not sure how accurate that is.

Haha, that’s a big question. Every episode just brings even more questions. Hopefully we’ll get the answers soon.

But JY can hijack her body whenever he wants hence the preview tomorrow.
Yes, when you think about it, her situation is far more tragic than puppet Ji Ling’s. Wuyi has no control over herself at all. Even if she chooses to die, Jiu Ying can resurrect her. He can take over her body whenever he wants. He can erase her memories and manipulate her memory and thoughts however he likes. It’s far worse than being any kind of puppet.

Girl, our baby luwuyi is more inlove with wuwanyan😭❤️
It’s also so sad. Even if you love your sister, you know your heart actually belongs to her. The question is whether it’s true love, or if your heart is simply bound to wangyan by nature. Damn… that’s heartbreaking.

Damn, I feel so sad for Wuyi. She was borrowed and pieced together to become a person. She doesn’t have a real identity. Everything about her is fake. Her entire fate is to be controlled by Jiu Ying whenever he wants. The only things that truly belong to her are her emotions and Ji Ling. It’s such a tragic existence.
