Watched 21 episodes (English subbed) on the youtube channel (=24 episodes actually as youtube episodes are longer than actual episodes). The drama focuses on family relationships. All the characters are at fault, and it is impossible to like them as mentioned by the previous commenter. The most annoying characters are 2nd FL and 2nd ML. 1st ML has also a lot of annoying characteristics. The only character that is actually bearable is 1st FL. She is actually trying her best but still, there are some lackings in her too. The main leads clearly love each other, while I can't say that for the second leads. Although there is a lot of angst, I am still watching it. I just watch these types of family dramas and still somehow like it. I hope they just reconcile again and forget all those misunderstandings. Well, if you want to watch it, just watch it. Forget all those plot descriptions and bad reviews. It's not bad actually. You might like it.
The drama continues to amaze us. One might think the drama will lose track after the strong first few episodes. But, it is getting stronger and stronger with the episodes. Both the past and current storylines are well made and keep the viewers attracted to know more and see more. All the characters in the drama are doing a tremendous job. We feel their happiness when they are together and feel their sadness when they face their past and current reality. The cinematography, the OST of this drama is top-notch. Every episode feels like watching a movie. It is hands down the best drama airing right now and probably the best drama of the past year.
The drama should get more attention from the people. I think many of us don't want to watch fantasy dramas. And a lot of people have this prejudice, these dramas are not good. I kinda agree with this, as most of these dramas fail to deliver. Some start strong but the story gets bland in the midway. I would recommend those people to start watching this drama. You wouldn't want to miss this. It is certainly worth your time.

Well, the main story might be the same or at least similar. They changed the romance portion a little bit. And, I think they only used first 40-50 percent of the novel for this drama. Full novel might need at least 60 episodes. It is screenwriters job to make the drama suitable and enjoyable for drama viewers.

It is a business drama mainly. Romance is there but it is not the main focus. But, you can say there is enough romance for a business drama. The romantic tension between the leads are really good. We are almost 80 percent in the story. Our side characters are now also getting some romances here and there. We can expect happy or some sort of okay ending for most of them.

Well, what I think about this is, we don't know enough plot to draw this conclusion. First of all, they were never romantically involved 600 years ago. Also, we don't know the actual story between ML and FL. Maybe they used to love each other 1000 years ago and they were OTP. It was the 2nd FL (with the help of 2nd ML) that betrayed them. Then, the FL misunderstood the ML and cursed him. 600 years ago the FL killed the 2nd FL to take revenge (well, I think she killed her, as there was blood in her mouth which indicated she killed somebody). In this life, It is her time to protect the 2nd FL.
Well, a lot of things could happen actually. We don't know. The chemistry between the ML and 2nd FL is nowhere near which can convince me that they deserve each other in this life. For me, the pairing between ML and FL makes more sense. We might find a great romance in their love-hate relationship.
6 episodes passed, and 10 to go. The story is unfolding little by little, and there are still a lot of surprises waiting for us. Episodes from the last week set the bar high for the drama. This week's episode might not meet the bar, but still, the episodes were solid and the drama is going on the right path.
Some might say, the FL is not up to mark for this drama. But, I started to like her character as the episodes go. No drama is perfect, and nobody is perfect too. I want to see more fights between the hero and villain. This drama really shined its best at the last fight between those two. The action, the chase, the thrills excite me the most. I hope, besides the fantastic story, the drama team will deliver more confrontations between the male leads.
The rating is dropping for this drama both in viewership and MDL. Which is very much unexpected. If a mediocre drama can get a rating of 8.6, this drama surely deserves more than that. Hope, the viewership will increase and more and more viewers will upvote this drama to a rating which it deserves.
Episode 5 lacked action scenes compared to episode 4. But still, it was a good episode. We are going deep inside the main story. Seems like, we will get flashbacks from 1000 years ago. I guess we will see all the characters (ML, FL, 2ML, 2FL) in those flashbacks. I believe all those characters are somehow connected to each other.
Performance from the 2nd female lead was spot on. But, as the story progresses, I don't see any romantic interactions between FL and 2nd female lead. The main FL couldn't shine in her character in the present days. But, her character as a bulgasal was spectacular. She is almost like a damsel in distress character right now. I hope the writers give more strength to her character in present days.

But somehow the soul got transferred to the younger sister. About the grandmother, she was the younger sister of the female bulgasal in one (probably last) of her past reincarnations. I think, she is not an important character in this drama. And I don't think she bears any connection with female bulgasal from 600 or 1000 years ago. Younger sister is the reincarnation of ML's wife from 600 years ago. As they are sisters now, I think there could be some connections between the female bulgasal and younger sister from 600/1000 years ago. I think we should use 'bulgasal' (or if it is hard for you maybe use 'immortal') instead of vampire. Bulgasal is a part of korean folklore. Although, they seem similar to vampire, there must have some differences. We should respect their culture and use the right word. Why the 2nd bulgasal is after the soul, it was not explained properly till now. We are just in episode 4. I guess, there will be 1-2 episodes where the story from 600 years and 1000 years will be shown. My theory is, he got the dark hole from female bugasal 1000 years ago. We will see all these characters (ML, FL, 2nd ML, 2nd FL, father) are somehow related to story that happened 1000 years ago. Whether there is reincarnation loop or who is original soul owner, there are a lot of unexplained things. We can only make some theories and use our imagination. Some might be correct, and some might be wrong. Thats the beauty of a suspenseful fantasy drama. I guess, the next episodes will explain the story little by little.
