This drama is so good, deserves 10/10.

I have no words for the lingkun character. I never liked the actor in his previous dramas. I saw him in 3-4 dramas and all his roles are similar. In this drama, he is so annoying that I want to slap him whenever I see him. Anyway, maybe this is him doing a great job portraying the character so well.
You can see clearly that 2nd ML likes (or maybe love) the FL. He simply doesn't have any feelings for his ex-wife and son. And, also for others too. He is a one-dimensional character who only cares about the business and nobody (except FL) else including family and coworkers.
About the sympathy, 2nd ML doesn't deserve any sympathy from anybody. While FL can be still up for redemption. Slowly she will feel that something is missing from her life and she will change herself for the better.

In the drama, the FL and the husband never got married. The child was registered under his name only as it is difficult for a child without a father in Chinese society. In the novel, FL and the husband got married but they never lived together. Later in the story, he divorced the FL. After the divorce, he never got mentioned again by the author. He is not an important character both in drama and novel. So, you can say, he didn't involve himself with the child again after the divorce. ML is his only father.

Sheng FangTing is the main villain of the novel. He is also the stepbrother of the ML. He has a grudge against ML and ML's father. All the incidents that happened in the last chapters were instigated by him. At one point, ML went into a coma saving his child. Fangting got the majority share and become the chairman of ML and his father's company. The last chapter had a lot of flashbacks of past events where a lot of misunderstandings were solved. These events were really emotional. The novel ended when ML woke up from the coma.
The author later published another extra chapter of the novel. Where she took us to their life after 3 years (well, I forgot, maybe more than 3 years). Now, ML and FL have another child. It is a girl. ML reconciled with his stepbrother. They were competitive but in a friendly way. Fangting was teaching business to ML's son. About the 2nd FL and Fangtind, I don't think they got a happy ending.

No, I don't speak Chinese. I can understand a bit. Yeah, you are right. FL didn't want the divorce and tore the previous divorce paper. But ML decided on divorce for her sake. About the phone thing, I'm not sure either. Probably you are right. I think ML helped her father on different occasions. There was IOU type paper in his wallet. So, you are right too. Well, as I don't speak Chinese, I didn't get many of the scenes. Also, I fast-forwarded many of the episodes and watched only the important moments. So, I don't get the exact details of everything. Just want to enjoy the dramas in a short time.

I read the last 2 chapters (google translated version) of the novel last night. Surprisingly, the google translated version was good and easy to understand. Maybe google is trying really hard nowadays on the translation.

For the spoilers, the last 2 chapters (maybe equal to the last 2-3 episodes in the drama) were really good. It was an emotional ride. I wonder how they will show this in the drama. It's gonna be superb that I can say based on the performance actors/actresses delivered till now.

Yes, I liked the FL character previously too. They clearly loved each other. But you might need to compromise sometimes. I don't think, she's gonna change unless the writers make a joke with us and change her character overnight. The ML deserves someone who actually cares, and she is not the person rn.

hmm, all the characters (except a few) are total shit. I don't know how the screenwriters gonna show the redemptions for these characters. In my opinion, they are in a state of beyond redemption rn.

wtf with this drama plot? seriously?? FL's father is in the hospital dying, she knows that. But, she is doing business deals without any care. I thought although she is busy with her work, at least she cares about the marriage and other people besides her. Now I can say, she doesn't deserve anybody. Signing the divorce paper is the right decision from ML. Come on, you deserve it.
About the 2nd ML character. In one word, he is despicable. I saw the same actor playing the 2nd ML role in 'To be a better man' drama. He always acts the similar roles. In this drama, his character is beyond despicable.
2nd FL used to complain a lot. But now her character is doing fine. She deserves someone like ML. Yes, both ML and 2nd FL deserve to be a couple. While FL and 2nd ML don't deserve anybody.

This is good. If you are like romantic dramas, you shouldn't miss this.
Well, I forget the exact episode number. FL slowly started to open up to ML. They had some relationship improvement in every episode. I think, at episode 8, she first started accepting him. At around ep 15-20, she started liking him. Then, maybe at around ep25 she started loving him. I forgot the exact episode numbers. So, you might find it bit different than i mentioned. It's a slow journey, but really fun to watch. There is a second couple, you might like their romance too. Overall, it's a good romantic drama with some actions here and there.

I didn't like ep 31-32. It is getting boring. They could finish the drama at ep 30. No need to have those extra 3 episodes.

The beginning of snowdrop was really good. But now the drama is losing track. I am feeling less interested in the upcoming episodes. At least, I hope they give us a happy ending. But that probably won't happen.

The rating depends on a lot of things. The general viewers are not critics. They rate a drama based on how they feel, not on is the drama good or bad? Idols, favorite actor/actress all add to it. Everything adds to the viewer experience for a drama rating. Some dramas are higher rated than it deserves, but as I said it all depends on viewers' experience.

Typically, most kdrama fans like romantic melodramas. A new twist with action and comedy also attracts the viewers. Bulgasal might fall on a category i.e. fantasy that attracts fewer viewers and the existing viewers don't want to give the drama enough chances.

I watched bad&crazy. I really enjoyed it. I think it deserves its 8.6 ratings. You might say, snowdrop is a bit overrated with 8.8 ratings. But still, it's a good drama that deserves an 8+ rating. You just can't compare bulgasal with other dramas. Bulgasal has a lower rating, it is not other dramas fault. Bulgasal obviously deserves a better rating, but what can you do?

No horror scene. There might be some blood and violence. But horror scene, that's a no.
