No subbed episode today. And after watching such a great drama, it is hard to watch another drama for the time being. So, I ended up start watching the drama from the beginning, lol. And, the drama did not disappoint me. It is still the same fun no matter how many times you watch it. I get to appreciate the initial episodes more. Janice Wu did such a powerful performance in her guest role. The character introductions were funny. I can see, all the characters changed a lot in these 15 episodes.

Similar to this, Hometown cha cha is a must. It has the same happy vibe as this drama. You will like that for sure. Also, check Its okay to not be okay. Another must. More of a healing drama. Just between lovers and Weather is fine are also good healing dramas. I also like My liberation notes. I tried to watch Our blues, but I found it very slow and boring. I might give that another try. But check Hometown cha cha first. It's a must watch.

I think, they won't be releasing ep 16 (subbed) today. But they will release 2 episodes (ep 16 & 17) tomorrow.

The drama follows this schedule- 10 episodes per week, Monday-Thursday 2 episodes, Friday and Saturday 1 episode, Sunday no episode. Subtitle team is also following the same schedule but they are 5 episodes behind. So if ep 21 is released. ep 16 with subbed is supposed to be there. Just wait, it will be up there.

I don't think so. I also saw some previews. Somehow came to youtube suggestions. All the Beijing scenes are from the first episode. No more Beijing, Shanghai or any city. Most probably she is not going back. We will see landlady Hongdou for sure.

How many seasons will there be? Is season 2 the last season?

Nobody is talking about the side characters of this drama. All the characters are great.
Especially my favorite dynamic is the 3 beauties of Yufeng Yard. Nana and Damai are such wonderful characters, you just can't stop but root for them. Damai has become one of my favorite characters in this drama. She did such great acting in her role. Mr. Ma who seemed lazy at first has his own ambitions and also a good character. I also very much like Hu who seems like a womanizer at first, he is such a good and helpful person. He just wrote and sang a song only for Damai's Birthday.
XiaoChun and her brother's dynamic, grandma xie's interactions with ML and FL, and all the aunties gossiping made this drama a wonderful watch. Not the least, even the kids also have their own stories and those are wonderful. I can't stop but praise the scriptwriters. This is scriptwriting at its finest.

Overall, it ended okay. I expected more from this drama. But, the screenwriting is one of worst. Actors did a tremendous job. The charm of Avaition is not there. A plenty of good avaition drama is out there, but they don’t get enough recognition. I started the ratings with 9 at the beginning but ended up with 7.
If you want to watch good avaition drama, I would recommend Good luck (2003) japanese drama. Its ratings is 7.9, which is criminally underrated. The drama is a gem. Best avaition plots, far better scriptwriting, more comedy and far better acting. And has a good romantic plot. The drama is a comple package for what a Avaition drama should be.

Yeah, it's all about hype nowadays. Some dramas just get overhyped and later get overrated. Also, the beginning of the drama matters. Many viewers just don't spend enough time to start a drama. They judge a drama by the first episode sometimes. In this drama, the first episode was kind of sad. Maybe some rated this drama badly due to this. But, once you get past episode 2 in this drama, you just get hooked. There is no turning back, lol. This is such a great drama. Wish, this drama gets more exposure.

The rating is 8.4, which seems low if you consider the quality of this drama. Some mediocre dramas easily get an 8 rating, this drama certainly deserves an upper 8 or close to 9 ratings.
Those who still haven't rated the drama yet, please rate the drama if possible. With a higher rating, more people will be interested in this drama.

Go Ahead is one of my favorites. The Day of Becoming You is also a very good drama. Both the scriptwriters wrote some really good dramas. Tbh, Hi Venus might be the weakest among the dramas written by them.

Undoubtedly, grandma is one of the best characters in this drama. The way she convinced the Fl. Every conversation she is in, she is so fun to watch. The actress playing this role deserves an award. Her real age is 85. In this age, she is doing such a great acting. Running around, hitting grandsons and giving such wonderful moments.

I feel bad for the ratings of this drama. The ratings is going downward, although the drama is getting improved. You can’t stop but think why this is happening. This is nothing but due to the disappointing first episode. The new watchers always start from the first episode. Unfortunately, the first episode of this drama is one of the worst that I can remember. So, new watchers are not giving a good ratings. Some might not even trying watching after that disaster of first episode. So, it might not be possible for this drama get the ratings that it deserves. The ratings could go down more

Sorry, @wheezythew8ve and @Mitali Mitu, my words might seem a bit harsh. I actually like this kind of aviation/airport setup. Whenever I find one, I watch it. I liked this drama at first. So my expectations were a bit high and I am a fan of FL. The drama started really well. But somehow it lost its track. Those words come from my frustration with the episodes. There is no real romance, they could develop other side characters. But, they did nothing there. Similar things happen again and again. FL had some problems, they took a few episodes to solve this. Then again another problem. A continuous loop.

Well, don't take my words too seriously about that overrated or overhyped thing.

I would like to suggest one drama (aviation/airport setting) to you. I don't know if you would like this. Its a Japanese drama and also an old drama. But, my absolute favorite. Good Luck (2003). Please keep it on your watchlist if you can.

Lighter and Princess fan here too. L&P was great. So far, this drama is also doing great.

I haven't watched A romance of the little forest. Actually, I was thinking of watching it. The plot seems interesting. Maybe I won't watch it anymore. If I don't have anything to watch, I might watch a couple of episodes to see. Thanks for your comments.

Well, I don't know too much about Douban rating or anything. I saw somewhere it had a very high viewership in China. I don't know the details. Also, MDL rating for this drama is 8.2 (I have clear idea about MDL rating). I don't think the drama is up there. I personally like the acturess. She is one of my favorite actressses. I said what I think. The drama is not up there. It had a huge potential and somehow, it's not there. It failed my expectation with is lousy and unnecessary plot. You can think it as my own personal opinion.

Good cast, a good budget, and good production. But it feels like something is missing in this drama. I started this drama, so I'm trying to finish it. But it's getting boring. Maybe they could finish this drama within 24 episodes. It's getting a good rating in China, But to me, I feel like the drama is a bit overhyped and overrated.
