Her sister is the mother of ML of first season so she is alive . ML needed to lose everything and everyone in order to make the alliance stronger and to grow up to be better leader . His loss was due to his reckless and immaturity because ML, FL and the masked group can't deal with the black fox without long training, preparation and the help of the whole alliance members. They were supposed to die 2 years later but they rushed their death . It was sad and tragic because the writer wanted make it sad so we can look for the next season .

I really blame the ML for not reading the letter from the future version of FL , I think it would have changed something .The love line was the weakest in this drama , I couldn't feel the strong love , that's why I didn't feel sad for the ending .
