also during the last scene, i love the pause when suzaki is parting his lips as if to kiss sugiki but he doesn’t, he waits in case sugiki pulls away or doesn’t want to display it publicly, but when he doesn’t, they kiss and i think the pause was really meaningful. also sugiki initiating the final kiss in the scene is v important.

i was so enthralled by this movie when watching, it was so good. both main actors did an incredible job portraying their characters and the differences between them. and ryoma was really attractive as suzaki, the body is bodying. the train scene was one of my favorites in the movie because the tension between them explodes so beautifully and it blends their tension when dancing together into their kiss so well. the movie makes all of the tension between them so vivid. i was a bit disappointed by the open ending, but the the manga unfinished i suppose it’s to be expected that they would leave the ending unfinished as well. i wish they had more definitively entered a relationship, but that’s really my only complaint.
