Seeing new comments on how Mr. Gu and MJ don’t have chemistry got me shocked😵‍💫I felt the most chemistry between them in the whole cast. Even during the beginning episodes with barely any dialogue they were able to say everything with their eyes. The kiss got my heart racing with so much tension😂But I agree chemistry is subjective to everyone.

I’m actually not disappointed with this kiss. I think it matched the characters well and the vibe of the show.
I personally really liked how he was stroking her back more than the actual kiss. They always have some distance between them but when Mr. Gu stepped closer to her it was already heart fluttering. Also the way he said “I worship you” in this episode was different. You know he meant it and that he loves her. I just love this type of romance..

For what I’ve seen and think makes most sense is that the two scenes of MJ/ Mr. Gu running and him celebrating 2022 alone are two possible outcomes of his decision. When he was talking to his enemy earlier in the episode he said he’s still deciding if he wants to continue making sinks or come back to conquer his business again. If he picks the sinks then that means he will be liberated with MJ and if he goes back to his business it will be glamorous but lonely.

Mr. Gu really drove CH all the way to Seoul again just because he wanted to see the car. This alone proves Mr. Gu is a good person and not as scary as he tries to be. He really fits well with MJ’s family and I believe he will pick them in the end!
