It took me so damn long to finish this drama. I found it draggy, boring and there was way too little romance in it. :/ Sometimes I even felt like the relationship between Hwan and ES was bro/sis like.
It would've been a lot better if this had only 16 or 20 episodes instead of 28....

Really love her acting. It's natural. She also seems to be a warm & kind person. ^^

He was amazing in Empress Ki. Especially crying scenes and acting crazy scenes. Just perfect and so real. He's a great actor with natural talent. Also cute and handsome. Love him. :-)

Poor Jae Wan, he suffers and suffers. I start to dislike Baek manager. She started to ruin Mo Nae and Jae Wan for some reason. Don't know whose side she's on. Maybe she's doing all that for her own benefit. As for the USB thing, our main lead had no choice but to give it over to VC in order to gain his trust. To prove that he's returned to his old self. Can't wait for ep.13.

She's stunning beautiful and also a great actress. I especially like her crying scenes. So real. :)

I loved the acting of Joo Won and Ki Woong. It was superb.
The only thing I really disliked about this show was Mok Dan. I just couldn't bring myself to like & care about her. I didn't like the actress's acting either....

I finished watching the first 2 episodes and I really liked them. This drama's different than typical kdramas. Also, the many question marks make me curious and keep watching. :-)
Acting is great too. Espically Jae. He acts very natural in this one.

Joo Won confirmed to be in it, YAY ! I'm going to watch it for him. I'm pretty sure he will successfully act as the cold and cynical Chiaki. He's a very talented and versatile actor after all. So happy about this news. Can't wait for the drama to start hehe :-)

Wow, I didn't know the Dowager was the wife of the Emperor's uncle. Thanks for the info ! :-) That was such an interesting read. Wiki also says that the real Dowager had a son (El Tegüs), but they didn't show him in the drama.. Anyways, thank you guys for your responses ! They cleared up my misunderstandings. :-)

I'm currently marathoning EK, but I've been wondering about something: The Dowager is the Emperor's stepmom, right? Because in one of the earlier episodes he mentioned his "late mother" and how she liked flowers..I'm assuming Dowager's the mom of his younger bro who passed away, but not his own. The subs got me a bit confused, so I just want to be sure. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll watch this when I have more time :) I watched the anime a long time ago and remember being affected by it for days after finishing it. Left me all depressed lol.
Really great story though. Wish the mangaka would continue the story....

Beautiful and very touching drama. The acting is superb and the OSTs are great too. The chemistry between the leads is wonderful.
I recommend not to watch it when you feel depressive though, 'cause it could make it worse lol. But really great drama. A must-watch imo :)
