I loved this drama at the start and I thought the part where the ML gained more power in the company and started…
Such a cliche ending screams shallow and lazy writing. Male lead's character has been shown to possess little to zero business acumen, him only focusing on his shoes and his mummy boy obsessions. Then again, we still wish for happiness for Lee Min Jung. Cos she's cute, and that's reason enough.
In the beginning, I loved this drama to the point of casting aside SKY Castle and Alhambra for a while, but since…
I hope In Joon playing puppy dog is the prelude to the shocker. When he realized the betrayal, his character does a 180 and he takes action against Hae Ra. Not knowing that their little rendezvous grew a life and came to find out Hae Ra may had real feelings, but was too late. Enraged he turns on his family and everyone. Show ends, with him being the actual protagonist; that "fates & furies" was a story of his fate, and his rage that immolates.
Episode 13 teaser just showed how much more hateful the grandfather can get though T-T
I think the idea of marriage between equals is of overwhelming importance in the Korean culture, especially when they still believes that marriage is the union of two families. The grandfather is probably looking out for the male lead's best interest, albeit royally screwing him over.
Is this worth watching now? Started with pretty low reviews and a lot of complaints.
Depends on what you are looking for in the show. This is a typical cliche Korean drama, 2 guy interested in 1 girl belonging to a lower social strata. Male lead's family against female lead. They struggle, with guy #2 constantly there providing the easy way for the female lead. Ultimately their love pulled through and arrive at happy ending. Acting isn't too bad, girl is cute. So i guess that's my motivation. I should be working on my life now.
Korean drama's idea of masculinity borders on sexual harassment and stalker behavior. Then again it can come across…
Forgive my generalization, for there are easily exceptions to the norm, and to that i agree with you all. Though you have to admit, the good looking ones do have an overwhelming advantage at being seen in the positive light for actions that may be debatable if otherwise. No reason for the countless to go under the knife if looks are only superficial and carries no real world advantage.
ep 11 preview got my heart going boom boom i cant wait gosh
Korean drama's idea of masculinity borders on sexual harassment and stalker behavior. Then again it can come across as being romantic and courageous. And it all depends on how the feelings of the lady. Which in turns depends on the looks of the male. Demonstrating a wrong lesson to the impressionable youths and promoting harassment. As most of us just do not have the looks to harass and have that viewed as love.
Then again, we still wish for happiness for Lee Min Jung. Cos she's cute, and that's reason enough.
