Kwon Joon Taek is a necessary supporting character. Rich boy turned independence fighter. Heart in the right place…
I think the problem was that Wi Ha Joon was listed as a main role on MDL so people, including myself, thought he’d have more screen time. Initially I planned to watch this because he was in it, but I like the drama anyway so it’s not a problem for me. Since then I take MDL cast lists very lightly. When the offical cast posters were released it sad to find out that he wasn’t on them, meaning his role is smaller. However his character is important just as you explained.
This was really good! Ater watching the trailer, I thought I wouldn’t like it but I was wrong. The ending was as I expected and I’m happy with the ending. But I hope PTW gets the ending he deserves. I like how it’s a short drama, it means I am more likely to rewatch it.
When Jung Gyu Cheol came on screen I was confused at first because I thought it was Park Tae Woo but then at the same time he looked a bit different, then I realised they’re 2 different people 🤣🤣(This was my first time watching KJW in a drama).
Also I need to see these pairings again in a similar drama to their scenes in this one: Kim Ji Hoon X Kim Jae Wook in a psycho thriller, Go Yoon Jung X Lee Do Hyun in a romance drama.

I would want Se Eum to end up alone and happy. But I really hope YJJ can apologise about the past, even though it is in the past now. Because that’s the thing that’s stopping me from shipping them, other than that they have great chemistry and look really good together. He genuinely does care for her. I would even want them to adopt Lu Na 😂. Although I heard in the original her character dies, I really hope they change that here.
I think it’s a bit confusing atm 😅. But it seems like the husband’s twin is the stalker? I wonder what he’s up to. And Yun Jin said she’s not seeing Jae Won’s husband but it’s still strange. If it’s the the twin, is he jealous of Soon Young’s life? Did he want to marry Jae Won? Yun Jin is jealous of Jae Won too, are the two trying to replicate Jae Won’s family?? Yun Jin even said she would’ve liked to have a daughter about 6/7 years old. The more I think about everything, the more confusing it gets 🤣
I hope her happy ending is just her and her daughter.
When the earlier episodes aired, people kept hating the ML because he still likes her. I mean it is a bit unusual for him not to see anyone else for 8 years, especially since he’s almost 40, but I think Sang Do is weirder, CYP and CSD were at least in a relationship and were best friends. Bit for Sang Do, idk if he’s had any past relationships or whatever, but he’s stuck with the same unrequited love for 30 years…
Also, Sam Dal should’ve been upset at her parents for not telling the 3 daughters about their mother’s heart condition, not Yong Pil. He is very close and almost family like with Ms Ko, but it’s not his place to reveal something so personal, especially since Ms Ko prevented him from doing so. But I’m glad they sorted that out.
When the earlier episodes were airing, I saw a comment saying that LBG accidentally cursed the wrong family and actually the whole time he’s helping them get rid of the curse and looking after Mak Soon’s descendants. Well that obviously isn’t the case for the drama (at least not right now), but is that what happened in the webtoon?
is there any point in watching this is if i didn’t enjoy the first episode?
I wasn’t too interested in ep 1 (I’m usually not a fan of introductory episodes of most dramas) but I watched the rest and really enjoyed it. I would say watch ep 2 and then decide if you want to continue or not because that’s when the ‘real’ story starts. But if you really don’t watch it anymore, then ofc you don’t have to :)

Both parts 9/10 ⭐️
