I agree the transitions are a little abrupt and the writing on the screen is annoying as hell, but every single…
You're right. That's the reason I'm marinating this. Maybe the beginning is slow and after a few more episodes when we have more background on the storyline, more information, then it would be interesting. But, for now, this drama needs to be on hold mode. After all, it's an early review, not the review for the whole show.
Some say it's boring and some say it's great. I don't know what to believe and if I should start this. Are these…
You should watch it and determine whether this one is for you or not. Everyone has different taste. Definitely not ugly idol fights. Some like it, some don't. They are definitely legitimate. Why don't you try watch a few episodes first and then tell your opinion. It'll be good to know what do you think about this.
This drama cracks me up so bad. My mouth is hurting since I keep smiling and laughing. Pei Qian was doomed from the beginning. Since he treated his employees well, their gratitude towards him made them want to repay him with success and profit. Feel so bad for him. Hahaha...
Yeah I agree. This is kind of a drama you have in the background while doing other tasks around the house. But…
i fast forward a lot. And I don't really like the transition between the crime and narcotics one. In truth within, the way the incorporate the crime case with narcotics work so well. In this one....... (sighed heavily)
so bloody boring too. When I was watching The Truth Within, I was so invested with their investigation methods, the way the forensic work is done, the way they find the suspect. The investigation in this one feels like for a newbie who knows nothing about how crime drama works.
Early review: This is such a snooze-fest drama for me. The investigation and everything - are pale in comparison to drama such as The Truth Within, Insect Detective, Dr. Qin series, Under the Skin, etc. I also don't like the direction of the scene between murder case and drug case. Everything feel mixed up and slow. But, let's see if it's going to get better. For now, I'm going to marinate this drama.
Both the Lsfs and the normal audience feel sad and heartbroken, but they accept it because the ending matches…
Really? Thanks for the update. I'm on the CP side (a little bit) but what I can't accept is the fact that all the bonds they built and shared were reduced to nothing. Nothing ever happened. No friendship between the four in Zhoudi Tower, no friendship with TLC, Chi Yun, Shen and Ashui. No meeting with Puzhu, no sight of Palace Chief Wanyu, no relationship with Sword Alliance, no ZCJ and etc. They should cross path with each other and get intertwined at some point in their life. I'm expecting more for the ending. TLC, from wanting to die, conflicted and want to live but at the same time, wanted Fang Zhou to live too. After FZ got destroyed, TLC learned to let go of the past, appreciating the life experience and teaching FZ instilled in him, destroying Fengliu shop and live on. Continuing FZ's legacy by teaching good things too. (Now, I'm rambling nonsensical thing). Anyway, I wish the ending was as spectacular as the cinematography, the quality, CGI, outfits but I'm dissatisfied. Too much frustration with an amazing series from the beginning which I hope ended magnificently but failed to do so. It's not a perfect series, I do have complaints (repetitive flashback, banter and fight with Liu Yan that lasts for so long) but it is still a 9 for me. The ending destroys the score.

Thank u soooo much. You're an angel. Glad to know the one in the riots are us (those who loathe the ending), the international viewers who hold such frustration, disappointment, anger and all sorts of negative emotions towards the ending. The local viewers are much more understanding and merciful towards whatever the production throws for the ending. They really go with the flow and just enjoy the storyline.
The drama should be renamed to "Never occuring Fate" if you ask me
Yeah, that's right. make TLC builds the bond with them again. Rewrite a new story without making the viewers feel bitter about the ending. BTW, what happens to Ms. Hong? I might miss her in the 'new' ending. or she's simply being forgotten?
Well, in here we've known the reactions towards the ending - some like it, some don't. Can anyone who understands Chinese stalk weibo or whatever social media they have and tell me the reception of the local viewers towards the ending? I'm curious about their reactions and feelings on the ending.
That's right. But still, you want the best ending and for the series to be remembered fondly. They should learn…
That's right. One more thing, the unnecessary characters' death, especially during the last two episodes or the last episode - usually happens to the second lead or the sidekick (part of the group). Can they just make them alive and happy?
Lol learnt the lesson so there will be no more next Chinese drama for me. No more throwing away time and money
Watch modern drama. That one rarely has bad ending although you might meet with 'cray-cray' characters that drive you mad, illogical storyline or looping (repetitive) storyline and much more. Need to choose the right 'gem' to watch.
The title should have given it away, whispers of fate, you know it was going to be a shitty ending, but you still…
That's right. But still, you want the best ending and for the series to be remembered fondly. They should learn from 'Love in the Clouds' - great endings, viewers are happy.
It depends on how you look at it. HE in some ways, but also SE in a big way too.
I'm not sure, but I prefer the other one. Resetting everything means nothing ever happened between them - the bond that TLC has with Fang Zhou, A-yan, Zu Mei, Chi Yun, Shen, Ashui, Chun Ji and everyone else. I just wish there's an ending that makes everyone happy, one where he does not disappear into 'dust'. At least, he learns the cycle of life and death, learn to let go and accepts his past - with what happen to Fang Zhou. It makes WOF not exists in the first place. Hahaha...

C-drama and the allergy to a happy ending can never be separated. I want the other ending based on the leaked script. Hope it manages to see the sun rather than being stuck in darkness forever. They can just release it separately.
contains spoilers until last episode...
