Yeah I agree! They focused too much on the stalker instead of explaining the other plot line...I almost couldn't finish the drama because everything dragged out so much. Didn't the synopsis of this drama say that "he needed her because she's the only one who can break the curse"? Then it wouldn't make sense that his 'death' lead to the broken curse. Maybe she 'died' too when she drank the poison and that's how they broke it?
I don't know what exactly went wrong with this drama, it started off on a good tracks then went south somewhere…

I'm not sure about the other stuff but I'm guessing the spells did work as she wrote them in her last life as a shaman. Because if the spells didn't work, then wouldn't the curse also not work? But the curse haunts his whole family line, so the spells must have worked too. However, I do think that he would've loved her either way because that's their fate anyway.
