Its not fake. Fake kissing scenes are like in Miss Crow with Mr Lizard. With TBW, you can see the lips touching with both of their faces on screen. Most of it because they want to transfer the merman pearl so it cant actually be passionate with lips moving. He is only angry in the 2nd part, he is naive and innocent in the first part. I really love the drama though since the story is very interesting. And you can watch the BTS. You can clearly see them kissing as its a whole body shot.

More obvious one is the BTS for Forever & Ever. He certainly kissed Bai Lu back but the Director cut it out in the drama since he wanted to make their first kiss as innocent without lips movements.

I have watched it last year. During airing time. The script is really great. One of the best from last year without a doubt.

Yes, adventure with very minimal romance but the leads have very awesome relationship. I'm loving each episode. Its really great so far.
