I disagree with your assessment. The passage of time is very unclear in this drama for the most part. However, Da Hee and Jae Seok got together before she entered college, with him helping her through her entrance exams. And now she's just taken her finals. So that places their relationship at 6 months at least, a year at most. Because no college would have exams after only 2 months of course work. And they were flirting for a good while before that, so the argument can be made that they've been "together" for about 18 months at this point. Which is more than enough time to reach this sort of conclusion.
