A sweet loving and emotionally mature couple with great chemistry <3.
While the plot is kind of average and basic, the drama shines through its great acting, captivating chemistry, and sweet love storyđ.The male and female leads delivered such an amazing performance, breathing life into their characters. The male lead, in particular, had an irresistible charm, and his smiles were genuinely heartwarming. The female lead was adorable and portrayed her role with great emotional depth (loved how much she was mature and had a lot of common sense). Together, their chemistry was just so heart-touching (I giggled so much watching them being lovey-dovey hehe). The slow and natural progression of their romance made it feel authentic, even in such a short drama. It was refreshing to see them fall in love gradually, supporting and understanding each other without unnecessary misunderstandings.
What sets this drama apart is the emotional maturity of the main characters. Unlike many other dramas, their decisions were thoughtful and realistic. The female lead, despite her deep love for the male lead, hesitated to be with him initially because of the traditional expectations surrounding the crown prince's future. She didnât want to share her love with concubines, and the male lead only had eyes for her and chose to love only her for eternity (my sweet babies;-;). Both of their dedication to their love is such an amazing sight that it made me want to fall in love as well. Seeing them made me love love hehe.
The drama also balanced its narrative well, focusing more on the romance than on the villains' scheming. While the villains had their moments, they didnât overshadow the romance, which is exactly what I love and want from a feel-good fantasy romance drama. The family dynamics, especially the female leadâs loving family, added a wholesome touch.
However, the ending left a mixed impression. While the drama concludes on a happy note for the leads, the last episode spent too much time on the villainsâ tragic fate. Their self-destructive end felt unnecessary and took away precious moments that could have been used to showcase more romantic, heartwarming scenes of the main couple (I want more of the main leads scenes cause I love them so much ;-;). Despite this, the acting of the villains was good, and their characters, while annoying, served their purpose well.
This drama is a delightful and addictive mini-drama, elevated by its charming leads and heartfelt performances. The costumes, makeup, and production quality added to its appeal, making it a visual treat. For fans of sweet, mature, and escapist fantasy romance dramas, this is a must-watch. Iâd happily give it a 10/10 purely for the chemistry, acting, and captivating moments between the main leads.

A Story That Feels Like A Warm Hug <3
This drama is the ultimate comfort dramaâsweet, lighthearted, and full of warmth. If youâre looking for something simple yet deeply enjoyable, this is the perfect watch. The love story doesnât rely on unnecessary drama or overcomplicated conflicts. Instead, it is full of positivity, understanding, and heartfelt emotions. Some might find it too "nonsensical" because of how sweet and happy it is (there are some scenes with deep emotions that might make you cry), but thatâs exactly what makes it specialâyou can just turn off your brain, relax, and smile through the entire series.
One of the standout aspects of this drama is the charactersâ professions. Unlike the usual cold CEO and helpless female lead trope in many romance Cdramas, This drama offers something different. The male lead is a traditional Chinese medicine doctor specializing in cancer, a career path influenced by his motherâs passing from breast cancer. Meanwhile, the female lead is a hotel manager, which adds an interesting dynamic to the story. This focus on traditional Chinese medicine and breast cancer awareness adds depth to an otherwise lighthearted narrative.
The casting is nothing short of perfection. The male and female leads complement each other so well, bringing their characters to life with a natural and heartwarming chemistry (Zhang LinHe and Xu RuoHan are perfect for the characters He Suye and Shen Xifan<3). Their relationship is mature and understanding, yet playful and full of adorable moments that make you giggle. The characters being a little more childish, adds endearing quality to their personalities, making their love story even more comforting.
Visually, this drama is a treat. The cinematography is soft, warm, and beautifully composed, with an emphasis on nature, flowers, and delicate lighting. Every shot feels like a painting, enhancing the overall comforting atmosphere of the drama.
The final scene is their wedding, and it is absolutely beautiful. The environment, the decorations, and the way the ML spoke about his love for the FL, all felt so genuine, as if I were attending a real wedding rather than watching a drama. What made it even more special was the couple's dance scene after the wedding. Most dramas donât include this aspect, even though it happens in real life. Seeing them dance together made the wedding feel so natural and realistic, rather than just another overly rushed wedding scene. It was the perfect ending to such a heartwarming storyâromantic, intimate, and full of love.
"The Best Thing" may not be for everyone, especially those who prefer intense plots or high-stakes drama. However, if you love feel-good stories with great chemistry, breathtaking visuals, and a touch of uniqueness in its themes, this drama is an absolute must-watch. Whether youâre a fan of the novel or new to the story, this adaptation delivers a heartwarming and visually stunning experience that stays with you long after the final episode.

Two Good Actor and Actress in a cringe and cliché drama.
I just finished watching To Ship Someone, and while I enjoyed it overall, it left me with mixed feelings. It took me ten days to finish it because of my academic life and also because some scenes felt really dragged that made it impossible for me to binge watch. But I would still say I loved the drama. Frankly speaking I continued to watch this drama only for the two main leads. I admire them both quite a lot so I stayed. Also their sweet moments, kisses, and interactions were truly heartwarming. The drama has its strengths and weaknesses. The lead actors deliver admirable performances, with Zhu Zhengting (gosh he's so cute and admirable hehe <3 ) portraying the emotionally guarded Ji Shu and Lu Yuxiao (love her^-^) bringing the cheerful Song Yanqi to life. Their on-screen chemistry is great, making their romantic interactions cute and enjoyable. The supporting cast also done a good job. However, certain scenes lack adequate explanation, leading to noticeable plot holes that may leave viewers seeking more clarity.
Additionally, the pacing is uneven; extended focus on the antagonist's schemes tends to overshadow the development of the central romance, causing the narrative to feel unnecessarily prolonged. While the drama concludes on a happy note, a more balanced distribution of screen time, emphasising the protagonists' relationship over repetitive conflicts, could have enhanced the overall storytelling. I think the drama could have been better paced, with the focus shifted to giving the main leads more sweet, lovey-dovey moments rather than prolonging the conflict unnecessarily.
Despite these shortcomings, this drama offers sweet romantic moments and showcases strong performances from its cast. Fans of urban fantasy romances may find it an enjoyable watch but you would need patience when watching some scenes. So If youâre someone who enjoys good acting and doesnât mind a few clichĂ© elements, this drama might still be worth a watch.

simple, funny and not stupid
this was a very simple and refreshing drama with zero complicated plot, stupid annoying ex, breakups, annoying parents or anything of that sorts. loved their acting as well. Well, at first when i watched half of the first ep i kinda got annoyed but later i loved every minute of this drama. the male lead's character was really amazing since it was not like those typical cold, arrogant, smart-ass ROBOTIC (too perfect to be true) -_- guys we see in most dramas. the female lead was also very good as she was not like those naive stupid common sense less leads. highly recommend this if someone wants a simple, light hearted drama. its something you can sit back and enjoy without getting frustrated. Was this review helpful to you?

An emotional yet sweet drama with a walking green forest as the ML
This drama has such a beautiful blend of romance, healing, and resilience. While it may not be perfect, (this is my opinionpls don't come at me for saying it has its own flaw) it delivers a compelling story that resonates deeply, especially through its well-developed characters and heartfelt performances. The journey of the Yifan, female lead, a woman who has endured immense trauma and struggles with self-worth. Despite her pain, she never gives upâher strength grows even more when she decides to protect the person she loves. Her story is heartbreaking yet inspiring, as she slowly learns that she, too, deserves happiness.
The male lead, Sang Yan is an absolute standoutâhe is the definition of a "walking green flag." he is a whole damn forest ahhh. His love for her is unwavering, expressed through quiet acts of service, gentle teasing, and endless patience. He falls in love first, and even when she leaves, his feelings never waver. His devotion is one of the most beautiful aspects of the drama, making their love story feel genuine and deeply touching.
The drama shows sensitive topics like sexual assault and victim-blaming. These moments are heavy and triggering (I myself am a victim so I can relate to her big time), but they highlight important real-world issues that many women face daily. Seeing the female leadâs journey from victim to survivor adds depth to the story. Itâs heartbreaking to watch how those closest to her failed her, but itâs also empowering to see her fight back and ultimately take control of her life.
There is undeniable chemistry between the leads which is a treat to us hehe. Their relationship is built on genuine care and understanding. There are moments that will make you cry, but also plenty of heart-fluttering and giggle-worthy scenes that balance out the heavy themes.
The emotional depth, the incredible chemistry between the leads, and the male leadâs unwavering love make it a must-watch. For those who enjoy heartfelt romance with meaningful storytelling, this drama is definitely worth it. A solid 9/10
