You can try watching the rest on iq.com. I don't know if there is regional restriction but I heard many people say the site is okay to them.

I don't know if you have read the original manga yet, but in my opinion, the ladies here actually get more respect…
If I remember correctly then Hotta Yumi mainly focused on the story and Obata Takeshi was responsible for the characters. Also, I read the information in an article regarding Death Note, in which he co-signed with another male manga author. Thus so far there hasn't been any words from the two HnG mangaka about how they developed the characters in the manga.

I respect the production team. They paid attention to many little details in the manga and made them valid and matter here in the TV drama. It really outdid my expectation.

Wow, just finished watching it, i just want to say "AMAZING, LOVE IT SO MUCH !!!" It can be placed in first place…
Haha I agree. I can't believe I cried over a live action, and when I watched ep 34 the second time I still sobbed over it again. And I'm not the kind of person who cries while watching films/reading books at all. I guess the actor did his job really well here.

You're welcome! Still, I think there's no need to edit your opinion. I get your point that the female characters seem to be inferior to their male counterparts. I just want to point out that the production crew made their best to stay loyal to the original works while making a development to the ladies at the same time. However, just because it's better than the flawed prototype doesn't mean it's good enough, at least compared to recent films.

(edited) Since there are already some changes from the manga and to these characters, I feel like it would be…
I don't know if you have read the original manga yet, but in my opinion, the ladies here actually get more respect from the production crew.

While I agree that the protagonist's childhood friend (Xue Ming) plays no significant role in the adaptation compared to Akari in the original manga, I don't think other female roles were made dull or boring.
As for Shi Guang's mother, she really does have a say regarding his way of living. Also, she is stricter yet more thoughtful and caring in the LA. If you read the manga, she barely just says yes to whatever her son wants.
Another character is Bai Xiao Xiao. BXX is completely different from the original character. Her Go skill might be inferior, but her spirit is stronger. She knows when to give up and she did her best, more like a one-hit wonder before retiring from Go.

Even the manga author admitted that he can't develop his female characters properly because he doesn't understand a girl's way of thinking. Therefore, I actually enjoy seeing them shine here in the drama.
