this drama was recommended on youtube and i got hooked since the first ep. i was looking for something classic like the plot is just like the old dramas ive watched before and overall it was surprisingly good. and ofc its a happy ending something that a lot of cdrama watchers want to get soo if you’re into place drama/romance pls give this a try its available on youtube with eng subs 🤙🏼
favorite part of this drama is the bromance its so wholesome esp lianhua and dfs’s chemistry i just couldnt help but scream when theyre together like i thought i was watchng a bl
this was unexpectedly good. i watched this after dropping my journey into you and the cast did great overall. the comedic aspects coupled it wth political and romance intrigued was so refreshing to see after not watching cdramas for awhile. if you enjoy costume drama comedy then this one is for you.
the first part of this drama was the strongest for me and got me on edge but somehow it felt flat along the way but i enjoyed it nonetheless bc of bai jingting. this drama made me appreciate him more and how excellent of an actor he is!
haha i listen to music every night so its normal esp if i wanna get immersed. it kind of annoys me that im trying hard to like the osts cuz i luv the drama. usually from my favorite kdramas i also love the osts :(
i listened to it actually with my airpods full blast lmao but i still dont like it as much. its probably unpopular as ive seen a lot of enjoyers but yeah its good but for an excellent drama like AOS maybe i was expecting more striking osts.
have watched two from his filmography and all excellent dramas that got me bawling my eyes out. hes such a rare gem in the industry pls continue to amaze us!!!!
this drama is too damn good pls i cant bear to wait for the remaining eps i was supposed to wait til the end of august to binge this but i couldnt help it. anyway can i just say my least favorite thing about this drama is the osts like im sorry to the music production but the osts dont hit 😭
from romantic point of view this is an excellent drama bc the ml is so devoted to the fl but overall tho i expected more but its still a good drama to me. this is not my first time watching the two leads and have been a fan of them but wow chengyi ive always admired your adorable face but you went beyond in the acting department why did you have to flex that hard a pretty face with excellent acting skills woww ...

i just finished watching this on netflix and i must say it deserves the hype it got or getting or even more. i ignored this for quite a long time and since im not someone who wants to be spoiled so despite hearing alot about this drama and seeing some viral scenes on twitter while it was airing i still had no idea what was the drama all about so i decided to watch this without any expectations at all and i was blown away with its incredible acting and plot 😭 i laughed i cried i felt every emotion the main leads portrayed! thank you to the whole production team you did well. my eyes are still swollen from crying in like evrry episode 😭 thank youuuuu IOTNBO
i completed this couple months ago but only got the chance to open my mdl account now and here i am commenting that you won't regret watching this drama I swear especially if you're into costume dramas :) it's a slow burn romance and its not the highlight of the drama but the character development and the close to realistic portrayal from their point of view was fantastic!! this is my favorite cdrama of all time and il forever treasure this. i wish i could watch it all over again <3
ive watched lotssss of historical dramas and im not even sure whyy i started watching this and to my surprise it blew me away. it had the humor i badly wanted from watching sad endings in cdramas (lol) the acting was superb, perfect chemistry, and the kissing scenes were juicy af. i cried so hard for the second leads love story and their fate was pitiful. i give it 10/10 because I discovered exo because of this and now im proud exol and kyungsoo and baekhyun are my bias. the story isn't anything special just like any other dramas out there but i was in awe with the acting and the way they executed the plot :) so if you're an exol or likes watching costume dramas this one is for you :*
