The writing of this drama is lazy af. Why are we doing the same thing as every drama where you already figure out what happens next?
This started out promising now it’s to the point I’m more annoyed than entertained now.
Is FL going to find out what really happened to her mother and ex husband in episode 8 or 9 leaving the last couple episodes as a rush job of seeking justice?
I am finally watching this drama and I have to say Kim Bo Young really be liking to play the victim card when…
By episode 14 we are still missing the key element to this drama Hae Won's feelings and her character development. They keep showing the good memories she had with her dad as a kid but what about the time up to when she was in high school? We finally get the acknowledgement that she knew her mom was constantly getting beaten but it almost seems like she didn't care. She cared more that she was a daughter of a murderer not really the fact that her mom feared her life. The one time we get some real emotion about it is when she finds out it wasn't her mom who did the deed but it was her aunt but its like she is not caring to understand the situation.
When Eun Seop told her to read the manuscript and saw his reaction anyone else would want to see what it was about but she waited hours to open it. Its a very weird reaction.
Now by episode 15 we are finally getting to what has been missing all this time but now its like its all being rushed and semi feeling incomplete.
Overall I did like this drama and the other characters together combined. Especially how we saw Eun Seop open up and see their relationship it was cute.
I am finally watching this drama and I have to say Kim Bo Young really be liking to play the victim card when really she is a straight up an evil witch.
She befriends Hae won then spills her secret to the school so everyone bullies her and then tries to go after her boyfriend even though the dude never liked her for what because she sat next to him in an assembly...GTFOHWTS!
I seriously loved the added feature of Lee Sung Kyung. I can sense the Ha Neul knows how shady and vile Kyung Min is and is probably wondering why Jeong Woo just doesn't see it. I have a feeling Kyung Min's reason for doing all this over something stupid that literally makes no sense other than showing he is bat ish crazy (a writers lazy cop out of a story plot)
Just started ep 9.... FL lacks emotion in her face so I cannot tell if she is conflicted about still liking the king and getting her revenge for her friend.
Made it halfway through…Seriously the mom is nothing but a hot head all she does is cause more trouble than helping. Also she is less than smart trusting without reading the room. Her daughter basically said who the culprit was and she didn’t believe her.
The meddler teacher who is just as naive and clueless

Don’t get me wrong I did enjoy this season but I felt like if there is no premise of a season 2 just keeping at that stance it lacked a lot in the story.
Bringing up the points you made that would make an interesting season 2 but I feel like given the execution and missing pieces here already I lack confidence that they would execute something as great as you explained.

I kind of feel like those couple of things could have been easily explained in this season it’s not enough to entice a season 2 which there is no news if that is even a thing just fan speculations. Literally lazy wholes in the story

The bounty part was the second group of people that still doesn’t explain why his old team still went after the niece even after they heard he was dead. That’s the one of the holes missing. Even if they are going to do a season 2 the one thing on bale and why the team switched up is still not enough
At first I thought they were all coming for the shop but after seeing the backstory it was all Bale. But now that Jin Man is dead they still came…why to get his niece and shop was a bonus?!?! It doesn’t make sense.
What happened to Bale??? Did the uncle get him in the time everyone else thought he was dead??
There is a lot of missing holes in the story. It was good but sooo much was missing.
Side note: when jeong min got stabbed in the head I literally clapped.
QoD is not the first KDrama to portray estranged parents. (Another current show featuring this situation is Marry…
I seen your post after I posted mine and I was really wondering the same thing. Why is it one or the other because that is all I see in KDramas when it comes to divorce? I never see split custody. It’s sad tbh and if that’s the case I wouldn’t want to have kids there either.
I don’t know if this really the way things are in Korea but why these divorces be one parent or the other for custody. I feel if both parents are capable it should be split. They should have family laws to protect kids well being.
