Well I don't think it is fair of you to call out people who are basically giving their opinion on your take on a public forum. Like you pointed out, since everyone has their own right to make a judgment, they are basically passing a judgment on your opinion. You see, new viewers might come to check what others think about this drama. They will check your comment as well as others. If nobody is able to disagree with you someone who might have liked this show wouldn't even try it in the first place. This is a conversation so just like how you want others to respect your opinion I think you should also respect others opinions. The webtoon itself tells the story of the parents along with the story of the kids. My suggestion to you is start watching from ep 15/16 as that is when they will be coming back to the present and you will see the kids fighting the higher-ups of the ANSP who are trying to exploit them but it won't be just the kids, their parents will be joining them to do that exact same thing. That's why the parents' stories have been introduced to the audience.
The drama's name is "moving" and it is about how they as families had to move from one place to another to ensure the safety of the children of the families. You are writing your own story with parents getting injured by Frank and etc. You are basically asking for what you have in your mind saying its is the most logical thing. It might be for you and maybe a few others but evidently enough it has not been the path the writer wanted to take and the 600 million readers of the webtoon wanted and have loved.
According to your story, the children should already be comfortable with their powers and should be able to fight the evil. Then you have to scrap all the episodes and start from the very beginning where they have already perfected the their abilities to a point where they can fight the evil. With the current story they need the parents' help to fight the evil.
The genre of this drama according to another site is not just about super power or action. It's a combo of, Action Fantasy Supernatural Sci-fi Romance Family drama It is about families and since they have talked so much about the parents' backstories in the webtoon itself, they are very obviously going to explore that in the drama as well and that is why the adult cast consists of A-list actors. Otherwise they would have gone for less expensive actors.
From what I have seen most of the people love the parents' backstories more than the first 7 episodes and after the last two episodes it's popularity have sort of increased. You can check FlixPatrol data for yourself to see that.
Think it's gonna be about Ju Won and Doo Shik as partners and Doo Shik escaping with Mi Hyun from Director Min.
