Review SKY Castle
I think it was meant to be like that. As in I think the writer wanted to portray how people are still selfish and want to gain for themselves even right to the end. Cha minhyuk wanted his family and was only really willing to "apologise" because he would be worse off alone. It was all to make themselves feel better since they couldn't go back and it would be worse to leave it alone it was better to give in and "change" but people don't change that much
