Tbh when the tutor used having crush on Akira's straight brother as a way to come close to him and show him that they're alike it made me so uncomfortable and I came here just to be on the same page as everyone and was shocked to see on every platform people defending the tutor and calling this grooming behavior callout as homophobic??? It’s pretty disturbing to see people trying to justify the tutor’s behavior. An adult getting involved with a minor isn’t something that should be normalized or brushed off. Calling that out has nothing to do with being against progress or being prejudiced or being homophobic. It's sad to see people not recognizing something that is clearly wrong. There’s an obvious grooming here. I mean A high school student and a working adult are at completely different stages of life, with very different levels of maturity and independence. Instead of defending the adult, why don't they think why wasn't he interested in someone his own age. Situations like this often come down to control and manipulation, which is exactly what grooming refers to and is evident in the way tutor keeps bringing up "let's end this". Tbh I feel Qin hides most of his feelings because of his parents? From what we've been shown yet I feel they're strict and reserved. Due to which I feel Qin is so reserved and is kind of hiding his feelings if ykwim we can see it even in Ep5 the bar scene where he goes into the bathroom to let out his emotions which is so sad btw as someone who does the same I can relate to him sm.
