Is this drama (TV edition) going to be 40 episodes or extended?
Just saw episode 37/38 previews, and I don't like how they are going to introduce such a big drama towards the end. I wished they ended this chapter of LX and his mom at the point where she let him go back. And at this point, I feel like a lot of storylines are going to be unfinished / rushed...
Most dreaded moment has arrived - Chen Ting and sister are back. However, I don't see 'bad mom' anymore. She's…
I was about to type a comment about how LX seemed unnecessarily cold towards his mom/sister, as they just came to surprise visit him, which is nice. But i just saw the previews of the next episodes, so i fully understand why he reacted that way now...
I hope LX's mom being a decent person isn't just an act, for her to do something even more evil later on. I'm kinda tired of all the terrible parents in this drama.
"..... so they are indeed ¨real¨ brother and sister, eventhough they are not blood-related." - Then you don't…
I perceived those actions as typical for the youngest sister to have for her eldest brother (kinda similar to how LX other sister was so clingy in her younger days), while she bickers/fights more with the younger brother, but i guess watchers can interpret those different. Let´s see how it plays out :)

I understand that it is more common, or even desirable for Chinese culture to have close friends/siblings marry eachother, but that is not really relevant in this case. I´m not saying it´s weird for that scenario to play out, but as JJ has not shown any love interest to LX, i think it´s weird for him to push into that direction.
Well LX was always clear and has been treating her as his love interest. She was underage hence he was waiting.…
I agree that is was obvious LX sees JJ as more than a sister, but JJ has not really shown the same for me. She behaves differently to both brothers, as she is the young/spoiled sister to her older brother LX, while she bickers more with middle brother ZQ. I don´t see any love interest from her side...
This drama had such a great start, but i hope it does not go into the direction of a full blown love triangle. I find it a bit weird that after 9 years both LX/ZQ want to date their sister. even though they had minimal contact. Also LX actions are quite pushy/creepy. I hope it will continue to focus on the family aspect and personal development.
And to the people who say they are not real siblings, ofcourse they are not, but they grew up in essentially the same househould with the same 2 fathers since young, so they are indeed ¨real¨ brother and sister, eventhough they are not blood-related.
No. The last episode just tell us ouyang is back from millitary school n JX is somewhat happy to hear that but…
My interpretation is that both CZ and JX obviously knew that it is only unrequited love. During the locked room scene (last episode), just before CZ was about to confess, JX indirectly says she only sees him as a friend, but still gives him a chance to confess. Also, during the second aquarium scene, JX says she won't guarantee to fulfill his wishes, but that he can tell her who his crush is whenever he is ready (implying she does not see him as potential partner, but not necessarily down right denying a confession). I also wished CZ was more assertive, but it was very fitting for his character to not potentially ruin a great friendship and it is enough for him to see JX happy. The aquarium scene seriously has one of my favorite dialogues of all time.
