I’m sorry but EIKO without the others is nothing. I hate that she needs everyone to boost her confidence. I’m on ep 6 when she almost back out of singing until Nanamin helped out (it’s unrealistically kind of Nanamin, since they’re rival and Eiko completely boycott their event) Eiko is already quite good, I hope the storyline would boost that instead of how she being coddled by people around her.
This is already on my list but I didn’t hv any expectation, thought it’s another detective drama. I originally just want to watch it while having dinner, but ended up binge-watching the whole series till dawn. The plot twist was insane, thank you very much. Totally wishing for season 2.

Saying the main characters were flawed was just too kind, because…okay there’s nothing normal abt this drama. Not the normal storyline, not the normal H&h, not the normal ending.
This drama is dark. I dived in knowing what to expect and that’s why I could somewhat enjoy it.
Also, their acting is superb. I could feel how Mio is this weak fragile woman, and how Masato is her “imagined hero” who would actually destroy her life. They’re not your usual main characters, and they’re not pictured as someone who people should relate to. I mean if you could relate to Mio then you might want to get a psych appointment.
That being said, I hope ppl would refrain from giving this drama low stars just because it doesn’t “fit” their expectation or the expected plot. Peeps, maybe this is just not your cup of tea…or maybe you should just widen your genre and point of view🫰🏻

Also, what’s with Masaki’s character? I’m not Kame’s fan, but usually i like him just fine. But honestly, i really wish Kanade end up with the other guy in this drama.
And what’s up with the ending? Did they break up? Did they make up? Open ending? Bullshit. It’s like they just cant make up their mind.

This is one of those dramas that doesn’t need its watchers to be deeply emotional to enjoy them (and i’m one of those ppl who dislike dramas that plays with your emotion).
This one has mystery, some thrill, but also comedy and slice of life. Enjoying it so far.
Gripping since the very first episode! I binge watched this over new year and I lose sleep over this whole show, finished it in one sitting. It was THAT good.

I enjoyed the remake, but the movie with Tabe Mikako & Miura Haruma was unbeatable :’)
