out of the new series, this one is very unexpected! I initially do not plan on watching this, but as of now, I love 2521 the most out of the 3 new series on Netflix!
i hate hakyung so much in episode 5 and it makes me wonder whether should I continue to watch this or not. I can not watch an unlikeable main character and root for them. She was a total bitch in this episode. She is a bad leader. She did not let her team member to understand the objective of every task she gives, she expect them to just do everything without knowing anything. She did not care about the workload of the team and she blames them when they missed important things due to the workload. She plays victim ad said that the senior forecaster is belittling her and the team does not trust her. She is also a bad partner to Shiwoo, she treats him like shit in front of the other, and not much better in private. I can not believe that she actually cares about shiwoo, all I can see is she cares about herself and she likes being worshiped by shiwoo, that's the only reason why she accepts him. Maybe I'll give them 1 or 2 more episodes before deciding. I am actually sad that I dont enjoy this one as much as I want to :(
I watched the 15th episode in an awkward situation (there are my friends all around me during a sleepover) and I was planning to rewatch the episode after the last episode to get a better emotion out of me. And the scandal happened, I could not even sleep! I can not imagine my hong banjang will do such a thing, so I feel like I can not rewatch the 15th episode. Up until today, when everything is clear, I finally decided to rewatch, and boy it was the emotional roller coaster episode! I cried my eyes out on a lot of scenes, I even get goosebumps when dushik cried. Now I am mad, I feel like the scandal snatch our moments to celebrate homcha, to rewatch and cry over and over again, to share pictures and memes about the cast. It is so annoying :(
Cried so much in the last scene, I was very afraid Hye-jin will break up with hong banjang due to his unwillingness to speak up. As someone who has watched kdramas for the last 10 years, I know that this episode (13-15) will be the break-up phase, but on the 16th eps, they will be back together, no worries. But I really don't want the break up even happen at all, because hong banjang's trauma and biggest fear is saying goodbye and being left alone, and even though they will be back together eventually, I don't want Hye jin to be someone that had left him :" I really understand Hyejin's perspective though, of course, she wants to know what her boyfriend has gone through. But still, please give him chance and please please don't leave him, even just for a while :"
the only thought that came to my mind while watching the end scene is THIS SCENE WORTH THE WAIT! the 2 weeks wait for a new hosplay episode, 2 years wait (i ship them since the 6th ep of S1), and definitely worth the wait of 22 years.
one thing i notice as a difference between S1 and S2 is they told the story of the patients for more than 1 ep, like the story of eunji and minchan, or the story of the girl without family. usually every patients story ends in an episode
and the other thing, the tend to focus at one character at a time, like the last ep was focused on junwan, while jungwan wasn't shown that much on the third ep. today eps also have very little of jeongwon and seokhyeong

I really sad for ikjun. I know that not everyone get their happy ending, but I love ikjun so much I want him to be happy (as he mentioned that being with songhwa is his happiness), he has been cheated and divorced, being a single father and everything, and finally when he confess about his love of 20 years, and was rejected. It break my heart to pieces.
I don't know whether this storyline will be revisited, I don't want to keep my hope too high (still bitter for reply 1988 ending [ team jungpal all the way]), but I still hope all the happiness for ikjun tho, with or without songhwa.
