I actually do not think the age gap is the problem here. the real problem is we already too familiar with the girl act as the younger version of a female lead and I find it hard to perceive her as a grown woman and act along Ji chang wook (who has been the male lead for a long time) and I actually find this problem with kim soo hyun as well.
that's why everyone mentions the age gap when we find this kind of age gap all the time.
well, all we need is time to change the perception right?

I think this series is just for whoever just looking for mindless, fun(ish)drama. It is might be enjoyable if we don't think too much, not trying to make sense of the story. We just have to pass through the lack of chemistry between the main leads, the 'ending', the fact that the villains in the last episode have zero power (for whatever reason), and many more.

I am sad that it is trying too hard to be smart, to be mindblowing when it is not.

I am still rooting for my fav actress kim go eun, please find a better project next time!

everything just does not make sense to me. I know I am not the smartest and sometimes I miss something from stories…
what confuses me the most:
on the first ep, we already saw future LG, we know that what he has done on the past already has an impact (like young LG supposed to die but did not). but right after future LG save himself, he shot Bu Yeong son. but the impact (he becomes limp) happens in parallel. I thought the impact future lee gon has made should have changed everything from the get go, but why the only impact was he as able to save himself, but the other impact comes afterward?

also lee lim being alive is just weird, i dont even know if i miss something. maybe ill try to read theories later on.

I couldn't remember if they gave us time hint for interrogation on 1st eps, but it's likely happened before LG…
I get back to the first ep when I saw kang sin jae brought LR to the police station (on ep 15). and on the 1st ep, they wore the same outfit on eps 15.

I know many of you are hesitant to watch this drama because Hwang Jung Eum's acting style. Trust me, she is not…
i actually looking for this assurance in the comment section. I am very much annoyed by her I could not even finished kill me heal me (lucky romance is the only drama i was able to finish). but maybe ill give a try for 2 ep before deciding to watch the whole series

everything just does not make sense to me. I know I am not the smartest and sometimes I miss something from stories as complex as this one, but this show (esp ep 15) just has too many plotholes, many things do not connect to the previous logic they have given us.

the overall idea is actually impressive, but the delivery is such a mess, maybe next time if they want to create a show with such a complicated story as this one, they should spend more time to see everything from both helicopter view and the details.

PS: I got back to the first ep, when tae ul and sin jae questions lee lim in korea, the questions they gave makes it look like they do not even know lee lim. even this little thing has disappointed me in lots of ways :(

I agree with everything, maybe except the SLS, because beside reply 1988 (still have not watched the last 2 episodes), I never experience such feeling, I always like the male lead.

But 1 thing that is very unrealistic for every kdrama for me is the 'coincidence'. The main leads meet each other by coincidence more time i could imagine. Even if i compare it to the events of me meeting my friend from work who lives in the same neighborhood, I only meet him 1 time (by coincidence) for 2 years of working in the same company.

I'll try not to have too much hope for songhwa and ikjun on the last scene in the next ep trailer. i just hope at least we get the ending of jeong won and ikjun's story
On The King: Eternal Monarch May 17, 2020
I just dont get LMH acting, i dont know if it is his performance or it is just his face and how he delivers his feeling.

on the other hand, i think kim go eun nailed every crying scene, it's just we dont even know why they cry from the first place, I just can't feel anything, it was very different from the crying scene in goblin, we understand Euntak feelings and we cry together with her.
i'm so sad that the writing is such a mess :(

Title Hospital Playlist Spoiler
I don't think he's going to give up for a girl, he just loves his job so much
yeah, i hope so, I just said my opinion cause i saw many people rooting for jeong won to fall in love to gyeo ul and "be" with gyeo ul, which is not the story development i would like, it would tarnish his character
On Hospital Playlist May 14, 2020
am i the only one who does not want ahn jeong won to quit becoming a pastor for gyeo ul? i have nothing against them, if they end up together, it is totally fine by me. But I want jeong won to make the big decision from what comes from his heart, from his passion, maybe because he does not want to leave his mom, or because he loves kids so much he wants to be a pediatric forever, not because of some girl. In this case, jeong won does not even understand his feeling towards gyeo ul and if he and gyeo ul does not work out, he will regret the decision for the rest of his life.

hospital playlist is a type of drama that i dont really want it to end. The story is simple, but it is heartwarming and nice, it does not have a major plot but it is not boring at all. 90 minutes of this series feels like 20 minutes. So glad to hear they will have season 2!
On The King: Eternal Monarch May 10, 2020
i love everything about this drama until ep 6, but ep 7 and 8 kinda disappointing for me, especially on the romance storyline. they became to focus on the mystery/parallel universe stuff that they do not pay attention to the romance. it was okay until Jung Tae Ul said "i love you" to Lee gon. It is understandable that lee gon feels like he knows her all of his life and immediately fell for her, but not Jung Tae Ul. She met him just a couple of times, and i believe around ep 8, Jung Tae Ul should have "interest" or "like" Lee Gon, but not love, love is a very strong feeling compared to their interactions.

But i love KGE too much to drop the drama here, i'm still holding on to the hope that the romance will get better as Kim Eun Sook wrote a wonderful drama such as goblin with over the roof chemistry between the leads.
