It's been so long since the last time I watched a drama that has the charms I've always been looking for in classic rom-coms. I really love rom-coms! I'm such a closeted hopeless romantic but as I get older it's hard to find satisfying rom-coms that doesn't feel way too cheesy for my liking. This drama is really interesting so far. It gives me butterflies and warm fuzzy feelings in every episode. The most important thing is that I'm not only in love with the main pairing but the Gongjin villagers as well. Also not gonna lie, this might be the first time I feel so excited for a possible love triangle. I hope the plotline will stay charming (or at least decent) until the last episode.

ngl the thing im looking forward the most right now is for the rating to drop drastically. never been this angry to a drama and i'm not the type to get SLS. overall, what a hot mess. i support dodal together tho coz they both are stupid so they totally belong to each other and obviously jipyeong deserves someone better.

I thought I was gonna check one episode to appreciate Yokohama Ryusei in kimono but I didn't expect to leave a comment here to say that I can't wait for episode 3. Ngl it's been so long since a J-drama pairing makes me feel this excited. The story is kinda soapy yeah with some cringy shoujo cliches like that smash-then-kabedon scenes yet somehow suits the drama's vibe. Also, I can't express enough how I like the Yokohama x Hamabe pair. I hope it stays this good until the end.

The biggest plot twist has to be the director's son! I just got too surprised!!Sadly only two episodes are left,…
This is so true! I was dumbfounded lol. I don't even recall his name and been referring him as annoying caregiver but he's actually director's son? Wth.

Wow, what an episode! It was REALLY painful to watch MY in a devastating condition. Episode 14 officially became the episode where I wasted the most tissues. MY is usually strong and loud, sometimes she behaves like a kid, so seeing her broke down and cried was especially hard. Because of mom, MY felt guilty for something she didn't even do. I guess most of us can agree that the scene where she tearfully apologized to ST for what her mother had done (even tho ST still has no idea about the real murderer) left the most impression. Her biggest trauma now becomes her biggest guilt too and she'd rather be the one living a miserable life as long as her mother will leave the brothers alone.

It was also painful to see the betrayed look on both KT and Director Oh faces when they realized Nurse Park was fooling everyone all along. "I'm so sorry I can't even look at you right now. It's all my fault," Director Oh apologized. "She was right in front of me but I had no idea. I let that woman look after ST and even thanked her for it," KT said regretfully.

Considering how often they spent time together with her but had zero ideas, Nurse Park must be another level of psycho. She's vicious and manipulative. She's suggesting dangerous stuff to mentally ill patients. She also has a sick obsession to make MY as a perfect real-life creation. I really need a good explanation of how she survived after losing so much blood and drowned in the river/sea/whatever it was if she's indeed the mom. Next week they will answer and conclude this but who knows if another plot twist might be waiting.

Despite MY's situation, it was warm to see that now she has people who sincerely worried about her. MY was no longer the lonely princess (or witch) in a cursed castle. She has family and friends and they care for her. I hope she will realize that and stop being so harsh on herself. Regardless of the 'ill-fated relationship', KT chose to protect her because MY is just Ko Mun-Yeong for him. ST wanted to be the responsible hyung that will protect his dongsaengs, including MY. SI still thinking of MY even in his sleep. JR and her mom also worried about her. Even JS, I was so ready to get annoyed at him if he will tell KT to leave MY like what he usually did but instead, JS told him to join forces and stick together so the couple will be invincible. That might be the best advice I've heard from him.

I'm both excited and sad that we have to say goodbye to this drama in less than a week. My weekends in the last couple of months been really wonderful because I have IOTBNO to look forward to. I don't usually leave comments but I diligently do it this time just because I love this drama so much. Really nervous about how the writer will wrap the ending for this but I'm putting my trust in IOTBNO team!

Took me a while to gather my thoughts on episode 13. This episode was a bit on a slower pace yet emotionally draining. The cliffhanger, well... we all kinda guessed it but when the time for revelation came it's still quite shocking and left me with so many questions. So yeah... I'm sorta disoriented from both sadness and confusion lol.

After I learned about shaman's lady abused past + the father of two sisters' tale, I realized how this drama been giving us several examples of how some people just don't fit to be parents (like what KT jokingly said to MY last week). We've seen the terrible trauma they can cause to their children. But the drama also showed us the reality that those parents also have their own reason for what they did to their kids, either unconsciously or consciously. Some reasons somehow understandable (ex. KT's mom). Some reasons are inexcusable (ex. shaman's lady dad, MY parents). They emphasized how blood doesn't mean everything when we've seen MY looks so much happier with KT and ST instead of her own parents, or how JR's mom literally caring for everyone as if they are her own kids.

With how they ended today's episode, it seems like the drama is trying to lead us to believe that Nurse Park is the mom. I'm still on the fence about it tbh. I had a feeling that whatever will happen today is most likely about her when Director Oh told KT that something strange is going on and he shouldn't trust anyone in the hospital. But with what MY's dad said I want to believe that mom is pretty much dead. Yes, Nurse Park is surely behaving strangely (I wonder if what she said about not anyone knows what's really going on in a family when she scolded SB was actually a hint or something ), but... does she really the mom?

Oh, by the way, the story of the death of MY's mom was really scary. Can you imagine a child so young had to experience something as terrible as that? Very traumatic. She also said that her only good memory of her dad was the fairy tale. Seriously? What a lonely childhood she had. No wonder she reacted that way after her father died. No tears, but still... if you observe her properly she was sad. Because nonetheless, he was once her dad who made her laugh by the tales he read. A simple moment but probably meant a lot when she was always with her scary mom.

The next episode might be focused on MY dealing with her trauma. The trauma that she found out did something even worse than her childhood memory. I hope those three are strong enough to handle whatever plot twist the writer will throw in for the last 3 episodes.

PS. We got an actual"seal it with a kiss" and I laughed when ST said "Kiss is better than fighting" lol. Istg they are such an adorable family I need to see them in a happy ending!

When KT yelled at MY I was worried that he'll avoid her and drag ST out of her house just because he doesn't want to 'betray' ST and his mom. I'm glad he decided to face her, that was very brave. He doesn't do something stupid and obvious like what usually happens in most dramas. Even in his dialogue with the director, he realized that MY is also suffering so it'll be unfair to blame it on her. He just doesn't know what to do with the situation when the mother of the woman he loves allegedly killed his mother and traumatized ST. KT situation is way too conflicting and I seriously wouldn't want to be in his position.

Anyway, JS told MY that KT always hides his emotions and feelings. However this time I'm really happy that at least he could open up to the director and didn't endure his burden alone. I wish one day he could also share his problems with JS too because the dude has been a very good friend to him despite all of the bothersome things he have to deal with, thanks to KT (and ST).

Overall another great episode. I think out of all of the characters I'm way too invested in ST because his development makes me feel really proud of him. His siblings-like relationship with MY also getting more and more adorable to watch. I also love it when JR getting jealous at SI and also love to see her slowly getting along with MY. I feel like whatever possible storms coming between KT and MY, JR will be someone important to help MY.

The fluffier scenes between KT and MY were also funny yet sweet to watch. They are such a lovely couple and perfect for each other. All I wish for them is to get a happy ending, preferably with an adorable son and uncle ST in their future family hehehe.

IOTNBO might end up as one of my all-time favorite dramas depending on how they gonna wrap up the story. But so far not a single episode is bad hence I'm gonna put my faith that it'll stay strong until the end. This is one of the rare dramas that make me excited every week. The story is very well told. Every episode brings both laughs and tears, even at the most painful episode like Ep. 10. So many wise and relatable quotes that made it feel even more personal. Besides the thought-provoking dialogues, the actors did a good job with their acting and the gesture they made. If viewers observe carefully, they'll find many heartwrenching moments in dialogue-less scenes. This drama might not be everyone's cup of tea because the topic and conflict they gave are actually quite complicated. But the captivating story-telling is definitely reaching many people. And once we fall in the depth of the story, we fall so hard, and that what makes this drama very special.

Only four (eight) episodes but I'm already so much in love with this drama. I love good stories about mental health. Both the male lead and female lead are amazing. Many scenes are relatable and I found myself tear up at how personal some dialogues felt. However, it's unfortunate to see people complaining about the male lead's look or the age gap (like what my friend said). Those are not good reasons to miss this wonderful drama unless it's a matter of personal's genres preference.

Well, the quote "high expectations can lead to disappointment" is especially true when it comes to this drama. Even tho there are dramas with worse plotlines out there, people will channel more energy to hate on this one because it doesn't meet the hype they expected whatsoever.

Meanwhile, I decided to watch it simply because of Netflix suggestion and so far I'm enjoying it. The only thing I'm uncomfortable is the massive and blatant PPL. Perhaps too many pieces of puzzles also bothering me too in the beginning but as the episodes went by I'm getting even more curious.

That's why to anyone who thinks that this drama is enjoyable, don't get discouraged with the negative comments or articles. It's okay to admit that you enjoy this drama. It's okay to get curious. We still have few episodes left and when it ends, you decide whether its just as teribble as what majority said or you personally like this drama.

Anyway, looking forward to Episode 11. Episode 10 was really heartbreaking and I bet it will get more angsty next week.

promising at the first half but quite messy in the second half, only saved thanks to the FL and beautiful soundtracks. my head hurts from thinking about the logic so in the end, i gave up and simply watched it just as it is. anyway, i'm glad that i have enough patience to finish this drama.
