I do admit I never read it so thank you for telling me! I still feel funny about it in general though. I get that it's in the source material (I also read it was supposed to happen in the drama but Boun refused to do it) but it still feels cheap to me in terms of plot and character development. I don't see why it can't deviate at all?? Lots of dramas spin novels slightly differently or cut scenes. They had, like, 3 years to work out something that isn't normalizing this sort of behaviour. Thailand's been making good strides for the past 6 months or so at banishing more harmful tropes so I just feel a twang of disappointment based on recent trends that 'I was going to hit you but stopped myself 🥰' being portrayed as romantic isn't one of them.
I love BounPrem and that's exactly why I'm saying this. I can't be the only one disappointed with the trailer? In what world would Win ever raise his hand to Team like that?? The boy was literally cowering. It felt lazy, these are established characters we already know and it felt... off. I hope people keep the same energy they had for F4.
Me: “Actually, Win would never.”
Win: "................... yeah, about that..............."
