Several articles about a few J-actors that I don't think they have great acting skills, but I do acknowledge their other talents.
I have seen this actor in "Lock Room"series and "Shinigami-kun". The dramas are entertaining but his acting isn't very praiseworthy. I am shock to learn he won an award for " Shinigami-kun". The drama is a bad version of "DeathNote" and the actor isn't impressive. All the characters are just "manga" characters, not much challenging to play them.

Review Pandora
I don't consider this movie is based on a thought experiment if it is inspired by the "Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster" incident. Almost 75% of the events in the movie are similar to the Fukushima incident. The Hollywood-ish scene where everyone lines up to salute the heros, and the "Heroic Sacrifice" trope ruin the authenticness of this movie.

Title Candle in the Tomb Spoiler
How to interpret the ending? She suckered them into the expedition in the first place by lying about her dad just…
They were interviewed and hired by the Prof Chen. She funded the expedition to achieve her own personal goal, while allowing the archeologists to find and study the ancient artifacts. Moreover, she doesn't know their true identity and intention. Only later on that she figured out who they were. I didn't take notice of how the symbols look like. All I assume is she, Prof Chen, and the 2 guys are cursed because they were the last persons who stay and leave the Jing Jue Ancient City where its tribe had placed a curse to whoever enters a specific location/place in the city.

P.S. It seems some important plots in the Novel were modified in the drama version. So, the meaning of the symbol is lost in the drama version.

If you don't like songs just skip them. Bollywood has the theme of celebration for most of it's movies. We like…
> Without music and dancing Bollywood would lose the essence

I disagree. I have watched the 1 or a few Bollywood movies that don't have music and dancing scenes like an MV. The essence of the Indian culture in Bollywood is still intact. Problem is, those scenes were done like an MV, They appear suddenly in the middle of the movie, and disrupt the flow of the story. Those MVs don't seem like a celebration to me (imagine watching a sad movie and two main leads start singing with other characters dancing, WTH is that?), but needed to be included because of the tradition.

In fact, really old HK WuXia dramas have singing scenes that were done naturally (not like an MV) but they were removed long time ago because they don't serve much purpose.

I understand those scenes are part of Indian culture but if Bollywood wants to appeal to international, it should consider redo them. There is an appropriate way to show dancing and singing, but not to the point that those scenes look like a MV. Dancing and singing scenes should integrate into the story in an organic and realistic manner.

My biggest pet peeve in Bollywood movies/shows is the singing and dancing scenes. It ruins the mood when the characters start dancing suddenly. Can you recommend original Bollywood movies (not remakes) that DON'T have these scenes?

Several articles related to Remakes of E. Asian dramas on this Site. Why not complete the Remake articles series? Someone needs to write a "Indian Remakes of Asian Dramas" or "CountryName" + Remakes of Asian Dramas articles.

> But if you want a TERRIBLE version try the US version of Death Note on Netflix; there is NO word in the English…
Just make sure you don't put too much expectation on the US version of "The Good Doctor". You won't get the same feeling as the Kdrama because the storytelling approach favors the US culture. I have watched 3 episodes of the US version and still liking it, especially the portrayal of thought process of a savant-high functional autistic person. The remake series is slowly building up the characters. Sadly, not all Americans like the series. So, the reviews are mixed here.

> I'm also awaiting the US version of Good Doctor (US version has the same name) with some trepidation because every time the West takes an East Asian drama/movie and remakes it, it's usually dire.
Actually, I didn't like the Original due to irrational doctors. The US version is better because the US broadcast companies are better at producing more realistic medical TV series.

I didn't watch the Original but dropped the remake due to the background song, which it was taken from other Series or Movie (may be from Transformer or Disney ). The song didn't fit the scenes. The production team could have composed its unique background song for those scenes.

But whyyyyy!!!!!
I don't like the idea of remaking "One Million Stars Falling from the Sky (2002)", "Oh My Ghostess", and "You Who Came From The Stars".

I never watched the k version of this drama.. But honestly its a really good jdrama.. I mean the acting is so…
I don't think the actors are stiff by Japanese acting standard. In realistic Jdramas, Japanese actors usually express most of their emotions primarily through their eyes, and facial expressions are secondary.

Title I'm Sorry, I Love You Spoiler
I never watched the k version of this drama.. But honestly its a really good jdrama.. I mean the acting is so…
The k-version is much more painful to watch because the male lead is really a messed up and complicated character. He has a lot of anger and resentment towards his mother and bad life. Basically, the male lead in J-version is tamer and nicer.

Title Tomorrow with You Spoiler
So I just finished watching this drama and I'm left with a few question marks : If the three of them survived…
> Doo Shik was supposed to die WITH them in the last episode so it makes no sense for him to sacrifice himself for them to live
Just my THEORY. I think the screenwriter is implying that Doo Shik found the answer to change the outcome of an event. It is related to Free Will concept.

> why the two men became time travelers and MaRin didn't?
Just my THEORY only. I suspect MaRin missed the opportunity to "synchronize" her mind and body with "energy" related to the time portal. May be there is a time period when the time portal became "unstable" after the accident, but the portal slowly close up after that. Those who "syn" with the time portal's "energy" are the only ones who can slip through the "portal".
