Nanons acting is...something else. Love him. They really made me cry in the end and the next episode looks a little sad but really sweet. Really looking forward to it <3

What was that licking scene Pran?? o.o Anyway I am very hype but also very unready to see a full episode of them flirting next week....it's going to be a long wait And as always Nanon is the best......his acting is *chefs kiss* Also at the same time the show is not perfect. I don't know why they use such garish background sounds for many scenes. It ruins it for me lol. Like they play such intense music but it's just so ridiculous. Also I know people are annoyed at Wai. But to me it's funny to see this dude with a baby face act like a tough guy...I'm curious about his feelings towards Pran though? or is he just a troublemaker?
This is my first time watching a series with Nanon and I'm so whipped for him....He is such a talent. I was impressed with him from the first episode and more so with each new episode. He is always the character and he stays true to it. He portrays such raw emotion. Whether it be him being upset, jealous or even in a comedic scene he is so good. He really stands out! The other actors in the series; some are average and some are good. But I feel like the most consistent and realistic actor is Nanon. He is very charismatic.
What makes this series a " different BL " than the rest ? because so far it's about nothing but two boys liking…
Yes them two liking each other is the main thing. But it's the exploration of their complex relationship (I don't think we know everything about their past, its slowly being revealed with each episode) and past, their navigation of it with humor and some hidden pain (for now at least), realistic characters and behaviors (the characters are consistent and realistic). All their interactions showcase the special but confusing relationship they have right now whether it's done through comedy, their banter, the flashbacks, or some dramatic scene. It's interesting for me, because for me personally I feel it's a BL which has real people interacting not just a bunch of attractive guys staring at each other for minutes to show they have "chemistry" or a "connection". The bow on top is the acting and chemistry between the actors for me.
I must say that I've rarely seen previews so deliberately misleading as Bad Buddy, at least outside of the infamous…
So true... The preview for ep 4 promised a cute episode but turned out to be heartbreaking. Now with the preview for ep 5 where things are looking more on the good side....it just makes me scared to see what devastating things are actually going to play out
One opinion I had about people's reaction is that it seems like many people seem to be used to particular tropes which are common to many BLs. I feel like the audience is not letting the show naturally progress. Everyone seems to have expectations of how the show will be but the show is not like other BLs... It's nothing revolutionary but just the fact that it has genuine and realistic people with normal behaviors and good chemistry already makes it stand apart from so many sub par BL series to me. Is it just me or does a lot of people in the audience not care about a show anymore? Like yes I get it we like the couple and the romance...but theres more to a show than that. Watch and appreciate the plot, humor, acting and also to criticize some aspects of a show as well. Don't diminish a series just because it falls under the BL genre when you yourself are a BL fan.
I did not like this show ;_; It was cute for some time but then it was just super boring for me. Their awkward energy around each other ALL the time is off putting to me. The high five at the end had me rolling on the floor but also cringing.
I'm loving this show so far! I find most BLs drag with the plot or is just full of fillers. This show is engaging and so much fun. I love the main leads acting and their chemistry. I'm falling for Nanon lol! So excited to see the coming episodes :) )
