Ok. Then why you keep watching the show? Because, I may be wrong but I think the ML will end with her...

FL is so despicable, ML almost died trying to save her and she is selecting candidates to remarry in case he dies,…
ahem... Being grateful and being in love ARE completely different. Getting married (or staying married) because you think you owe the other person something is the beginning of a toxic relationship.

I look at it as a (not even) guilty pleasure.
But so many holes in this scenario!
I'm used to leaving my doctor's brain in the locker room, but the confusion: cornea transplant -> I can unlock a code with my iris...
I've never seen that one before.
Come on, Brain, go back on the locker room and let me watch this hottie!

Title A Journey to Love Spoiler
All along, the characters were pretty consistent. They acted like real people, dealing with dubt, sorrow and desires.
Until...
Yes, you can have a a marriage during mourning. But you really imagine NYZ with this big smile when he has just lost his little brother/almost child? Even if he doesn't know the others are dead, at least he can imagine them in danger.
You remember that the guy was ready to hit the road alone with his wok and that he agreed to come back, eat poison and be killed out of loyalty to his brothers in arms?
" Oh look! butterflies! Nice! Let's get laid!"
Seriously?

Title A Journey to Love Spoiler
Episode 36 , 22m07
"Why did you have to do this to him? "

My point, exactly.

The problem is not the sadness.
The problem is the lazyness.

The missed missing at the Inn is a scam. Maybe the only one ( or the first one,I haven't finished watching the ending yet) in this show wich could have been perfect.
And what's happen to the intelligence network of Meinang?
Conveniently disappeared to let Yuan Lu play Marathon runner?

The end of Mei Changsu made me sad. Not angry.
The death Of Qian made me sad, but I could understand that he only stood for revenge and after having given up on killing the emperor, he could let go.
I begin to feel a schtick with the death of Sun Lang.

With the death of Yuan Lu, ok, i'm just angry with this "Kill them all and let God sort them out"
Kill the character if you need to. Don't kill the show.

Title A Journey to Love Spoiler
Mood episode 34 : "My little baby is all grown up and saving China"

The screenwriter gives so much dignity to the female characters and does it so intelligently.
I so love the way the drama shows the compromises and deals the characters make. Whether it's the main couple, the princess, Deng Hui, Yu shisan... almost all of them have to deal with inner conflict. And they do it without pathos.
For the only one who has trouble with it, it is clearly said by Yuanzhou: it is an illness and it must be treated.
(I think he will end up doing it, by the way)

this drama is a gem

OK
until then there was no crazy bitch ready to burn everything in the name of failed love

I'm a little disappointed that LTG is going straight down the path.
.
it remains a great drama, not deep but well paced, full of humor (the maple leaf deserves to become the meme of 2024) and very natural in the development of the characters.
Except LTG (sigh)

I totally agree. It's like every other business drama where they completely ignore real business scenarios just…
I am laughing. I am a doctor. It is IMPOSSIBLE to watch a drama (Korean or Chinese) without unplugging your brain first.
In fact, it's true for all professions, but since the characters spend a lot of time in the hospital, whatever the subject of the drama, I have to do it for almost every viewing.

Until the third episode, I had moderate expectations.
I'm not buying the childhood love story. (Not because kids don't fall in love, but because they don't fall in love the way adults do.) That said, young actors are fabulous.
I yawn at chaebol tropes, twisted stepfamilies, and white trucks of doom.
Fortunately, we seem to have avoided the trope of women who can't drive.
SO?
Then there is Shin Hye Sun.
She is undoubtedly one of the most amazing current actresses, worldwilde.
She can, on her own, grab me on (almost) any story.
In this episode, she is bold, compassionate, crackpot, heartbreaking.
And what a pleasure to also find Cha Chung Hwa after Mr Queen.
So far, the girls are much better defined than the first and second male leads.

And now... I have expectations.
