In Zhang Zi Yi they are not seen, and it is a fact because the pictures do not lie. Or since when are signs of aging considered youth? LOOOL!

It is easy to use the anti-aging filters in Chinese productions. But they're typically used on actresses who can only survive in idol dramas. LOL. They are known as hardworking beauties because they depend on plastic surgery, makeup, filters and what not. Zhang Zi Yi is a respected figure in China (even your faves admire her), and it doesn't just depend on her physique to have a place in the entertainment world. I don't know what the hell went through her head when she participated in this production but there are still levels ;)

Your faves have cringe-worthy performances in almost every posible drama. In Zhang Zi Yi's case, it's been a rare occasion. But it is not bad to know and recognize it since this way one can compare her with the top traffic stars from China.

This is what happens to a woman who is not considered conventionally attractive when she marries a "heartthrob". Ugly/average men are allowed to be loved as long as they have good values and are charismatic. But when it comes to women, even if their personality is incredible, if they don't have a decent enough appearance, they can be scrutinized. Michelle Chen has always been a victim of this since she announced her relationship with Chen Xiao.

Nah, he is problably one of the few K-celebs who didn't go under the knife (or has cosmetic procedures). It has become a habit for me to think that every good-looking East Asian is not natural. I have seen photos and videos of Cha Eunwoo's childhood so I have accepted that I was wrong about him (as well as with other folks). But I suppose it may come across as a compliment to think that a person had the help of a surgeon. LOL!

I agree! The bad makeup reminded me of Deng Wei and his face that looks like a prototype of poorly performed plastic surgery. He always looks like he is ill :(

It is an exaggeration to mention that she looked older than her parents in the drama. They had wrinkles while she did not. LOL. I understand that your veins were popping out, but I can't take you seriously considering your “standards” in acting, especially from China (one of your favorite actresses always uses filters in dramas to look younger, but you turn a blind eye because it doesn't suit you).
