I agree with you. This has been the most recent k-drama I've watched and like you, I wasn't expecting much from it. I was mainly interested because of Park Seo-joon but overall as each episode went by I became more attached to the characters and story. It's definitely one of those rom-coms with a dash of sad scenes.
