I feel you. I literally skipped all the parts about SZY sister. Can not stand 1 second of it.

I am really angry with this drama. I loved the first few episodes so much and I couldn't be more satisfied. Up until ep 22 I liked it but oh my god. I feel so irritated and angry for the changes in the second half. I hated the fl character with passion and seeing her was torture to my soul. The weakness, the unnecessary exaggerated softspokenness, the irritating amnesia and ... The ml was interesting but suddenly got demoted to this blindly in love brainless person who was getting stepped on for no reason I felt bad for him, but I didn't like his changed character as well. I can't express how disappointed I felt for many parts. There was such a hype about the empress and 3rd prince and this was it? omg and I still for the sake of the ml wanted to watch to see his happy ending but the ending??? excuse me? Who dared to write this? If you wanted to give us a sad ending just kill him, I would still be annoyed but how dare you after dragging this for 36 eps give us a vague and open ending? Now suddenly what happened to him is a secret or what? I regret the high rating I gave this in the beginning. This is just unwatchable.

Multipole scriptwriters is definitely the reason why the characters keep changing. I only watched assuming the Fl is smart and logical but god she was pathetic and unreasonable in the last episodes. She should collaborate with SZY. No way she and that 1 maid can fight against 2 whole countries all by themselves while being poisoned and her brother taken hostage. The only reason she is alive is cause SZY is in love and blind. If I don't see any change, I will just drop it.

I mean in my opinion the emperor is weird. They claim that Shen Zai Yi rose to power because of the emperor and is emperor's man and in the beginning, there is this scene between them that makes you think they are close, and he trusts him but then when it came to meng family he out right ignored him and his evidence and was super annoyed by SZY. In the hunt he was anxious to play with him as he was his close friend. Then when Meng Jen Jen tried to poison them and he asked him to just grant them divorce he was again so pissed by him. He just randomly told his men to beat him up with cane and was pissed at him and his eyes were twitching.

Honestly, I really enjoyed this series up until ep22. This series is really good in general but there are parts that makes no sense, and I believe as well as (the glory) this drama as well is exaggerated and intense. Maybe it is early but since the fall from the cliff I am starting to not get this drama. The SZY character was such a calculative and logical one and not emotional but suddenly he became rather someone else in the recent episodes. Why is he doing all of that to the messengers coming from Bei yuan? He is publicly doing something risky and out of character. It doesn't make sense. Also, the 3rd prince plot twists are just unnecessary and weird. The amnesia and staying at the 3rd prince and how SZY is dealing with this matter and how nonsensical this whole thing is but no one is questioning it is just beyond me. It is just ruined. I think the new trend of super intense daramas it is not really nice. The number of events is just sickening. How can anyone keeps going while getting tortured, falling off a cliff and getting amnesia and being so weak and fragile at the same time. This drama needs balance, and they should stick to the character they designed. They shouldn't make the character but then, when necessary, just go off.

up until episode 23 I still had hope for this couple, but I have to say that unfortunately they are at a point where it is not possible anymore. The Fl has lost everything and everyone. She has not had one single moment of peace. Despite her desperate wishes for a family and love and her utmost efforts to somehow fix the situation she just can't have it. She was so desperate that never got angry at her mom and despite the cruel 17 years of torture she had never complained because she wanted her mom to love her at any cost. She was ready to forget everything. She rushed to help her mom who never once held her, waited patiently and in the end? the most cruel and traumatic ending ever. She wanted to give the ML a chance and wanted to believe him, but I mean he is not trustworthy and honestly does not seem to love her at all. He wanted to use her but now he is afraid of her because she seems uncontrollable. so basically, at first, he was amused by her wit because he wanted to use her but now, he is afraid that the situation is not under his control and there is nothing left of the spark between them. He is worried and she has gone mad and lost her motivation because her mom is dead, her friend just gone, her supposedly lover turns out to be a manipulator, and her father is the reason behind all of her misery which is just cherry on top. Why would she be in love? why? I like the smart and witty Fl but the sneaky and manipulative ml who does not care about her? it is so frustrating that all the focus is just on revenge and betrayal. of course, some part of the plot is forced. It is ok if there is no romance, but the constant fight and never-ending plot revealing is forced. at this point the fl should barely take her revenge and then die and think how good it would have been if she never had came back home. I want to see if they force a happy ending or logically continue with the current flow but after all this her father death is not satisfying because everything has been ruined.
