I completely agree. I wish they changed it from the original one because in the cdrama, it was also 10 years. Another thing is why do writers make damas take place in modern day and completely ignore major details such as having social mediaðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ like bffr who in the 21st century is disappearing from their family for 10 years and not even have some form of social media💀 especially in a country like skorea
just caught up with eps1+2 and omg haejun !! lowkey if i hadn't watched the cdrama i would have serious sml syndrome - bae hyeon seong has the most gorgeous eyes. also, i think the sml character has been dipicted slighly differently, which I don't think is necessarily a bad thing.

ive only seen a few episodes of wonderland and from what i've gathered it's more of a relaxing and chill variety show if thats your cup of tea, the cast is also great - i recognise most members which is not often. but for me it was quite boring so i also dropped lmaoo. for youth periplous, my favourite seasons are s3(2021) and s5(2024) although every season is hilarious

hahaha no it does get a bit creepy at times lmaoo 😠unfortunately justin isn't participating in this year's season, probably because of conflicting schedules. if you want a variety show that's funny i highly reccomend youth periplous - this year's season finished airing not too long ago and the cast is hilarious. also idk if it affects you at all, but the english subtitles are also quite accurate. if you need more recs, lmk - i have a bunch!

no literally - the fact that it's obviously set in a time where people use phones, it's hard to believe that fl dipped and never messaged ml ever again like hello?? ðŸ˜
currently on ep22 and i feel like the scenes between fl and her mother are very poorly written. in every scene between the two, it feels like the dialogue is broken and their conversations don't flow properly, like why is her mother always so mad at her?? like she claims she knows better and thats it. - we're not given any proper explanation as to why she behaves like that as a mother (i dont think her sickness explains anything at all). i think the actress's acting is fine but it's just the script that is bad.
